Realist,

Your digging yourself deeper every time you post.

So now as well as you saying you think the satellite Yamaha is better than the factory Hondas, you are also now saying that the factory Honda in 2011 was 'more or less a 5th-7th place' bike?

The 2011 RCV won the title with 13 wins out of 17 races, yet you saw it as a 5th-7th place bike.

The 2013 RCV has won 2 out of 3 races, yet your saying that the satellite M1 is a better bike.

I really cannot see your logic behind your opinions.

Feel free to try and explain this though. Id also be interested to hear your answer to Larry's post too, because it has to be one or the other.

sbab - Bradl has a full factory RCV213V, it is no secret. Go and check for yourself and maybe pay attention next time.

Bautista also has a factory spec bike (except hes helping with the HRC/Showa/Nissin project)

Again, go check.

This is why people are finding it so outrageous that the guy above is trying to say that the customer Yamaha is better than the factory RCV213V.

It was the same with Simoncelli's bike in 2011, it was no secret that it was a full factory bike.

But for some reason, the guy above also claims that the 2011 factory Honda was a 5th or 6th place bike.

Very funny.

I also understand Bradl's and Bautista's Honda's to be "Factory specification".

What this means exactly is unclear. Do they have the same level of HRC support? The same parts availability? I expect the Repsol bikes are higher in the pecking order at HRC if that makes sense?

I also understand Simoncelli for example was contracted to HRC directly whereas Aoyama was not. In 2011 I did not consider their bikes comparable. Who Bradl and Bautista are contracted to I would like to know.

This is all a bit of topic being a Crutchlow article, people can disagree all day on what bikes best!

The result is that Crutchlow is performing admirably as top satellite rider on the package available to him whatever that may be.

www.crash.net motogp news 186102/1 stefan bradl gets factory honda support for 2014

- HRC's support was extremely important for me in my first season in the premier class and riding for the LCR Team...
- young German signed a contract extension directly with Honda shortly after the end of last season.
Included in the renewal was the promise of factory specification machinery, although it was not clear if this would kick in immediately or from 2014.
- Asked about the engine and chassis status of Honda's four MotoGP riders - Dani Pedrosa and Marc Marquez at the factory Repsol team, plus Bradl at LCR and Alvaro Bautista at Gresini - Nakamoto replied
All four riders have the same specification. The only difference so far being that Dani has tested a different engine.
