hope he can go on edge, battling about 5th...
like very much Bautista, with good matherial he
should be on top edge...

bat, if is question of how far he can go, much if you reffer Crutchlow, (is far...) ok, agree, good mark, but i dont see reasons for beat him in particular...

prof x hes had 2 podiums in 3 years in gp.. how he is still taking up a seat on a decent bike is beyond me.. of all the riders in gp, bautista has probably the slowest rate of progression I've seen.. at the rate he's going, pencil him in for a race win come 2019.

heres an interesting tidbit: in his 2 years in moto2, smith has only 3 podiums 0 wins. glad to know thats all it takes to earn a spot on arguably the best satellite bike on the grid. gotta feel for iannone: an 8 time moto2 winner on the worst satellite bike on the grid.

Bautista finished 5th last year, above Rossi, Bradl and Crutchlow, this year he is only outperformed so far by the 4 "aliens" and Crutchlow.

You talk about progression, 2 years on Suzuki, second year on Gresini Honda and almost always in the top 6/7 with the odd pole and podium thrown in. Progress at this level and with his equipment cannot be much faster.

Be realistic ... who would you give the Gresini Honda to who would beat the works bikes regularly?
