Rossi fans wouldn't have bayed for blood because the rider they support, would have laughed it off and said its just racing, especially as it was the same corner where he did it in the past.

The people on here wishing Rossi would go away etc, how can you say you are a Motorcycle racing fan when you speak of a guy who justs does his thing with a smile on his face, is good at it and is A 9 TIMES WORLD CHAMPION, are you for real? I don't get it, go away if your that weird,
If something goes wrong it goes wrong as tragic as that can be, because its what they love.

Really? I don't remember Rossi laughing when Biaggi put in on the dirt. In fact, i remember Rossi being a lot less sportsmanlike than Lorenzo.

Danger card? I remember a certain Rossi wanting to ban laguna Seca from the calendar for being "too dangerous"... And i also remember Sic58 fans claiming exactly what you are claiming about "being part of the sport" right up until Pedrosa got broken bones, and superSic himself ultimate end. I don't like to see riders injured, do you? i don't remember Rainey or Schwantz hitting each other like that "back in the day".

Tone down! that's it for me, final post.
I have raced in nearly every class there is inc the TT and yet I feel forced to stop coming to a site once relied on for bike sport news and conversation.
Goodbye and good luck.

I just hope that this incident between MM and Lorenzo doesnt alter Lorenzos focus on the big picture. He will soon put it behind him i am sure.He needs to stick to his game plan and not get hot headed. The last thing he wants to do is to go out seeking revenge. That could be disasterous. At the end of the day, noone likes having a harsh move pulled on them, but its racing and evey now and then it will happen.

Not a dirty move as a desperate move to gain the advantage. Good thing that Lorenzo didn't crash as that would have been worse. I'm sure he'll store the incident in his mind and will have some payback at some point.

Agree with Rossi it was a tough move (maybe not smart) but at least no one crashed or got injured. Rossi had done this move and it has been done to him. A racing incident I'm sure but if he continues these type of moves that GP officials will consider action.

Hi Rod, you should try Not to be so single-minded in your attitude.....
I READ the posts on this site, and it is patently obvious
which way Valentino's fans would have re-acted!
And that's Not the fault of Valenino.
I'm sure you'll be back on site.
Have a good-evening.

p.s.If you really did race on the IOM, Much Respect.

Like Senna once said "If your not racing for the gap your not a racer" I know this is Moto GP, However it is a golden guideline towards all motor-racing.
