Lorenzo should have accepted the handshake, refusing it to a rookie it shows how bitter he is, oh by the way this is how Pedrosa should be with Lorenzo, then he can have a chance of winning a championship.

Marquez has a strong character and he doesnt fear big names. he will be challenging for the title this year

@nefer
Always thought Dani had it n him, I never wrote him off, nor did I think Lorenzo was hard done by.

Two people who have done nothing to earn a GP ride in the last two years are Rossi and Smith, that's all I have ever said and let's face it, Rossi fans BLAME everyone or anything for the non result we get from Rossi.

If you can't beat your team mate or even mix it up with the Honda guys why bother.

For a Goat, Rossi s a joke and now let the yellow belly clowns let their hate out, who cares

@ Euro Trash

You are so wrong and if you dislike Rossi so much you have two long seasons ahead of you cause you can be sure Rossi will be beating his team mate very soon and mixing it up with the Honda guys as well. Wait, I think he already did that , in Qatar, remember? Rossi fans maybe " yellow belly clowns" but at least we don't go trolling around your fishing websites.

Marquez did the same to Thomas Luthi last year. This kid is gonna hurt someone with his wreckless attitude. It wasn't right when Rossi did it to Sete & it's not right now. It is NOT close racing, it is simply disrespectful, wreckless & dangerous. If you enter a corner with your foot off the peg and collide to avoid running off the track, you should be disqualified. Period. I was not a Lorenzo fan before this but I can tell you Jorge has gone up in my books while Marquez has sunk to a new low. JL hasn't got any need for reprisal because I feel, this kid is gonna spend more time in hospital than on the track anyway. Lets just hope he doesn't put some poor undeserving soul there first.

re: "Wilco Zeelenberg did however make clear he felt Marquez would not have made the corner without the contact."

well... yeah... but the burden of this observation rests squarely with lorenzo. he had already just seen the kid lunging wildly a few turns prior and he successfully countered THAT by crossing back under.

the move AGAIN was to sucker him deep into the BZ, jump on the binders and square off to the inside. jay made a bad choice and in doing so ignored the arrow remaining in his quiver.

moral: "never stop fighting till the fight is done" (costner/elliot ness voice). here endeth the lesson.
