“This year the hard tyre is not working“ - Jorge Lorenzo.

I am surprised by the level of closemindedness in this forum, Lorenzo is not the only one complaining, the article only talks about him but in reality everyone would like more options to use to their liking, it is unacceptable that there are only 2 options for a whole weekend and 2 out of 24 riders chose 1 of the options. There is an article on Speedtv.com by Kenny Noyes that talks about the tires, it is very insightfull and educational I recommende before drawing quick conclusions.

Cont.
So, even though the tires where no good, everyone accepted because if Lorenzo was wining with them, then sure it was just a matter of time untill everyone got everything sorted,and for sure Stoner and Pedrosa, and everyone else where just not good enough, and had to suck it up, man up and catch up right?!? And so they did (mostly honda anyway) but by then it was too late for a recovery and Lorenzo sort of "cruised" to the championship, and even though Honda ended up wining the last races of the season, the outcome was inevitable!
This year the tables have turned, and the weather is again back to normal, and because of the softer construction of this tires (which so greatly penalized the Hondas Last season, but benefited the yamahas so much) The same riders who praised them are now against them!
How about that?!

Last year the tire spec was changed right at the very beginning of the season, after every manufacturer had already developed their bikes, and after all the testing, add to that the 3 Kg added also at the very last minute and the Hondas who where so dominant in (all) pre-season testing suddenly where in trouble, if things didnt happened like they did who knows what could have happened
I just hope Bridgestone could give more options for the riders without changing the spec tire one more time, because if they do change the construction of the tires and some manufacturer ends up being penalized like it happened last season, then my faith in the organizers will be completely gone, and i will stop watching MotoGp for good, because i think that no one likes to see races with this kind of rule changing which for me looks a lot like favoritism.

On a closing note:
Maybe 2011 season tires took a lot of time to heat up, but at least they where consistent no matter what the weather, and also degraded at a much better ratio.
Proof of that is that most fastest laps came towards the end of the race!

I hope Bridgestone wouldn't listen jorge.That's not a big deal.Because if it bad for one rider,it bad for others too.Except you build that tyres to suit one manufacture.

Suck it up jorge.
Moaner.

@The Judge.

Do some cursory research on the internet. It's common knowledge Rossi had special tyres flown in for him before race day. Good on him. He got away with it for a while.
Since his stint at Ducati, with no walls, no special tyres etc, he's been totally exposed and owned of course but his facade worked for a while at least.

Suck it up Lorenzo! Stoner never complained even when his tyres were spinning. Rider nowadays complain alot. Just because you came in third does not mean there's something wrong with the tyres. Geez....talk about egos.

hard tyres slide alot on corners despite giving race-distance long endurance.Hmm...it seems BS has provided the tyres way too late for a rider that no longer participates in Motogp.Very Dodgy!
