Just been on the BT Sport website. Yes, free channels for existing BT Broadband customers, but it starts a new 12 month contract with them! Only appears to be 'free' for a year, as well. And I thought Murdoch was a thief!

since eurosport became national and then started to cost money (remember it used to be free before digital satellite) the whole sports coverage has been on a downward spiral and now I won't get anything live (in English) because I live in France. Great work dorna.

Also note to eveyone in UK. Dorna have pulled the same trick in France and removed the free to air they were saying was essential. We can all see your motives Ezpeleta.

Such a huge gamble from BT on this one. With viewing figures of less than 2 million for each race on BBC, how many extra subscriptions do they hope to gain by having the exclusive rights to MotoGP, a minority sport at best in the UK. Judging by the responses on here I doubt they'll get even ten thousand people willing to shell out just for one sport. The real losers in all this are obviously the fans and the only winners are Dorna with all that lovely BT cash in their wallet.

Never used to watch MotoGP on BBC anyway as I couldn't stand Charlie C..k. On top of that the BBC didn't show the Moto3 or the Proddie Bike Drifters. Always watched them live on Eurosport and waited for the delayed MotoGP race. As Eurosport is in the basic Sky package it was reasonable value and covered the Superbikes as well. Unless Sky do a deal for HD subscribers (like they were forced do for F1) I guess I won't be watching next year either....shame

Who are the commentators and whats the use of free to broadband customers when Bt broadband is crap.As far as I am concerned Moto GP as lost another viewer,I was fed up having to watch a delayed GP race because I prefer the more informed comentry from Eurosport.

Just seen an advert for BT Sport on telly. They go on about live Premiership football matches and Aviva rugby but not one single mention of bikes. Seems they're taking the BBC approach already. Why steal the coverage from so many people in order to try and blackmail them into buying your product and then not even mention it in your advertising? How is that going to alert people as to where to watch the sport they all love that you have hijacked
