Wow! Another loss of viewers.
Are the controllers so dim as to not expext a massive loss in viewing figures?
When F1 switched to sky, they lost hundreds of thousands of viewers that cannot or will not go to sky. This will be the same.
Why are sponsors not asking why they are not getting the coverage they once were.
I would be.

Dear BBC,
The promotion was non-existent, the commentary rubbish, and the lack of podiums & press conferences showed lack of respect to both MotoGP and its fans.
You claim to have achieved certain things with your coverage, I'm afraid all of the claims are made falsely and the sooner you realise your short-comings the better.
Good riddance to BBC, bad riddance to Eurosport.

Visiting friends the other week I watched BBC's coverage for the second time ever. The access they got was great (riders contractually obliged to speak to them no doubt) but give me Eurosport every time even with Toby (Alan Partridge) Moody at the helm. Quite frankly, that berk Cox is truly appalling. An idiot. In a league of his own. The cocky roving mic guy was almost as irritating. And what's with the vainglorious opening title sequence? Incredible.

Stop going on about Eurosport, it was just as bad as it going to BT

If you don't have BT then you have had it = Pay

If you don't have Sky then no Eurosport you were in the same position = pay

Remember, the Eurosport coverage was cheap and cheerful and only existed at all to appease the thousands who complained when they lost their contract a few years ago. National broadcasters were given the best deals. You pays your money and you takes your choice. As a Sky viewer I now lose and I guess I won't be watching it next season. No great loss as that diminutive dimwit Ezpelata has ruined the sport anyway (with Honda's help) .

The bbc did themselves no favors unfortunately by the fact the coverage was so poor. I remember watching the Texas GP, when a CRT rider crashed. Neither commentator could even say who this person was?!
They get paid a decent amount of money to do a job we'd all jump at, traveling the world, yet they clearly couldn't be bothered to even research the names of the riders they'd be commenting on for 2013.
If there is one positive out of this mess, then it'll be that Cox and Parrish will be off our screens for good.
