@RSMick
You are simply wrong. The existing 'system' works. It isn't perfect and not all the people like all of the commentators but in the main, it works. BBC for the masses and Eurosport for the enthusiast. Simple. Unfortunately CE is employing what a lot of businesses are currently doing and that is going for short term gain. He couldn't give a monkeys toss about the sport long term as he won't be around for much longer so he is maximising his return now. Sadly, by doing that he is f*cking it up for a good number of people here in the UK. Unfortunately this is one Spanish Inquisition that, in truth, we did actually expect! Bast*rdo!

BIG mistake, MotoGP have been conned. I have just confirmed what I already thought to be true. I did a line test on the BT website (put in your home no.) & BT informed me I cannot receive BT TV in any capacity because my broadband speed is too poor even though they are my broadband provider. Having been an avid fan of GP since the days of Barry Sheene, it looks like I'll have to find something else to fill my Race Days. Farewell - the greed of the sport has let down the real fans. The majority of a generation will now miss the magic of probably the best rider ever to grace this sport #93!

Well that's just stupid. How to lose a fan base. I'm not interested in watching 38 premier league games or their tennis coverage so £15 a month to watch a couple of races. Shame too cos I really enjoy Moto GP. BT have got a whole 750000 customer for their tv channels. More like moving from 500cc to step through than to Moto GP

He is shooting himself in the foot doing this. I became a fan of Motogp when I was channel hopping and caught a cracking 990 race on Eurosport. Tuned in ever since, went to brno twice thereby lining dornas pockets. How in the world are they going to attract new fans when its on a paid for tv service. The majority of people watching will be existing fans already.
