Inevitable really, if you use Spies and Dovi as the benchmark for whats expected of Tech-3 then Cal is really in a bad spot.

What really sucks is i don't exactly see Ducati getting rid of Hayden really, he is very popular in the US which is extremely important to them, and he works his ass off and puts his head down.

Cal on a GSV-R joined with Spies afterwards is what i think will happen.

@ bikenutter
in the states in meny pro sports, football, baseball, basketball, he'd suspended or let go, dependent upon the servarity of this type of crime... they said that neither one is gona serve they're sentence.

"Both, of course, took advantage of the conditional and they are not going to serve the sentence."
from GPone.
hope they learn their leason, get help, and move on.

Espargaro will wait another year for Rossi to check out, asking Cal to leave would pretty much gut what ever integrity MotoGP has left in it's belly. Cal could win races if he were on Marc's bike, and he could certainly podium on a well backed factory Yamaha, but such is the case that politics are ultimately more deciding a rider's fate than his own talent.

If Marc can get a factory bike then any other rookie should be able to get a factory bike. Just cause hes Repsol's favored child and Dorna's wannabe prince of darkness ... Lets face it Marc will never be as charming as Vale, not in a million years, Marc is the will of the establishment to put their own on the podium and do what Vale did, that will never happen, because Marc doesnt believe like Vale did, and Marc doesnt bother with false pretenses, he just goes out there to win, and that will only get so far with the masses. People need to believe, and Rossi will always be better at motivating people in that respect. It's just not

... in Marc's psychology to achieve the same response in other people as did one Valentino Rossi. Rossi's greatest ability was pulling the rabbit out of his hat, and while Marc might pretend he doesnt have the best bike like he did in Moto2, he wont ever sell it near as good. But the commentators should help him along, hes just to much of a sith to really master the kind of appeal Vale did.

So yea, I cant see Pol taking Cal's seat, I cant see Tech 3 screwing over the UK like that, Smith is okay, but with BBC checking out, and Eurosport leaving, MotoGP needs every bit of Brit they can hold on to, that isnt more interested in actually winning races in a competitive series like WSBK ... dun dun dun.

Hi
@prof X You are probably wrong MM already have more fans in northern Europe and Australia than JL and Danni together, and due to the enormous interest in Spain he probably have a third there already, which is pretty good, you have to remember back when Rossi started, he was not as big as he is now, you're bound to get some fans when you been in it for 20 years right Give MM a couple of years and a couple of WC (including his first in his first year) and we talk again 2016 aright:)
Cheers Claes

Yayyyy! There are 4 bikes on the grid capable of winning. In 2015 all 4 will have spanish riders. Ezpetella, are you really this stupid to allow motogp to turn into this?

Dont forget BT have the series rights for 2014 and beyond, they wont like it if there are no decent seats for British riders. They need many paying customers to recoup their investment, will they get the revenue with no real British interest? Not from me!!
