@don-r, that will happen very shortly. As soon as that 1 pesky Italian is out, pol will move to the factory squad regardless of his results just to make it an all Spanish wining series. The Americans/British/Germans/non Spanish will be on whatever's left. Lets be thankful they left us ducati. Lets hope it doesn't start winning otherwise they will take that from us too!!

first of all, there is a bit of a misunderstanding here: is Pol geting a factory ride or a place at Tech 3? If the first then yes, it is said, because it is then obvious that Yamaha doesn't want to do anything with Rossi. Which, even though at the moment he is not doing that awesome (although he is behnd Jorge), but he gave quite a bit to Yamaha. But in this case what's the hassle with Cal?
if Pol gets a seat at Tech 3, then Cal might still get a seat at the factory Yamaha, and Rossi can get extension on his contract too!

Can someone make this clear please?

MotoGP is becoming less and less sport orientated!
As much as i don't like casey Stoner, i sortof starting to get his point with retiring. Why would you give your name for a dirty business like this?

Pol to Tech3 with factory bike like Marco S. at Honda
Rossi out after 2014 season, Pol in.
Cal out of Tech 3 and Yamaha.
BS boot from Tech3 after 2014.

and who goes to yamaha then if Rossi is out?

why have I forgot Jorge? Aren't there 2 factory bikes? i don't think Yamaha will get rid of him! (unfortunately, but this is only my personal opinion)

one more thing, i feel sorry for MM, he is talented but will become a doll for Dorna:(
