I hope Pol will get Rossi's ride after 2014, to avoid blame of bringing yet another spanish rider directly on the factory machine they are bringing him into tech3 next year... Smart move to tackle the blame and fill all 4 winning rides with spanish guys... Damn...

Among the current top4, three of them have jumped directly into factory ride and all three happens to be from spain... there are enough spanish riders in all three classes, so I think it's to rename motogp as spanish gp or to start a new class called moto1 exclusively for spain riders...

Once Rossi retires it will be of no worth watching motogp, because seeing unfair spain dominance is hurting other fans... Let them play spanish anthem thrice every couple of weekends who cares... When Rossi quits motogp, I'll quit watching it...

Cal is getting screwed over big time here.He is working his ass off on that bike every week and this is how he gets repaid. The only guys ahead of him are the ones on the full factory kit. What else is he supposed to do?
I bet he feels like he has been kicked right in the Buster Browns!
MotoGP is definately looking agenda riddled now.

@99 cb, unfortuanetly for cal, all that hard work hasn't translated into results. The effort is surely there, the raw talent however seems to be lacking. spies got 2 podiums as a rook and and pole and progressed (and bottomed out) much faster than cal which must have been why yamaha picked him. slow progress doesn't bode well in the premier class, and I'm guessing the factories have short patience and need to see something rather quick to award a factory ride other than pure effort..

@TheBiscuit how do you know Cal would suit the Suzuki? None of us know anything about the Suzuki yet. All we know of Suzuki so far is that they have shown no evidence that they can build a four stroke GP bike. Of the 2014 bike we know nothing. We certainly don't know which riders will suit it.

Oddly enough however wind back a year to when the rumours started that Spies was leaving Yamaha and what were his fans saying? That's right. They were saying that Ben and "the Suzuki" would be a marriage made in heaven.

That Suzuki must be a miraculous bike, it's seems it's suited to everybody.

Well turns out even if you regularly upset the factory riders on a privateer bike, your place still isn't safe from a Spanish Passport.

Unless you can get a decent factory ride Cal get out of this joke of a championship before you get swamped in Red and yellow flags!

Its not like ay UK viewers will be able to watch you anyway!
