@ Cubikrube

What a stupid assumption. People disagree with the theory that you should never raise your hand to a woman and from that you conclude that they are all in favour of battery.

We don't know the ins and outs of this. The words "you dont raise your hand to a women" are based on the 1940's. women didnt drink and get lary in those days. Now, im not one to hit women. Never have and probably never would.

You hear about these weak men who are beaten up all the time by their alcoholic wives. Now, if it's ok the other way round for an abused woman to smash her husband after such abuse, then it should be ok for an abused man to do the same. As previously stated, we don't know the circumstances here, but if Hector got right to be able to defend himself. You cant always walk away from fights.

EDIT by CRASH.NET! Inappropriate comments removed.

If you are to respect weakness on a basis of ethos or honour then it is you who become the weak. Women oftentimes try to take advantage of this and behave in an intently provocative manner so as to provoke the "strong" to attack and therefore lose face, knowing that their own assault will only be considered as nothing of importance.

what annoys me is that in this day and age noone really says anything about this totally foul, unethical and unfair behaviour on part of the supposedly "weak". Is is supposed to be OK when women behave in this manner? Why noone here says nothing about this lady and all criticism goes towards Barbera? Are women totally devoid of responsibility because they are considered "weak"? This is absurd! Isn't this view what actually derogates women to a lower state of being than men?

If you want your weakness respected then don't provoke. Otherwise accept it coming.

You should never hit a 'Lady', Lady being the key word, most women nowadays are certainly not ladies, they want to act like lads, they must be prepared to get treated the same, in this age of equality, if a woman hits a bloke, she should be prepared to get hit back, period.......

Perhaps if Jodi Arias's boyfriend had defended himself he would not have been butchered by her. It's all very well playing the white knight, but there are some crazy psycho women out there too. It isn't always as simple as walking away or turning the other cheek. The courts have recognized the 'battered husband' syndrome and treat it very seriously. As much as the idea of hitting a woman offends me, I would be stupid not to defend myself if I had to.

I'm not a Spaniard so I'm not going to judge or assume I know what passes for normal over there, buy I will say this....

I don't care where you're from or what your habits or culture dictates.

You never, never, never raise your hand to a women. Period.

Do whatever the f@ck you have to do, walk away, go for a beer, visit a friend, go for a ride, play some cards, do whatever you need to do but you don't strike a woman.

Be a man, grow a pair if necessary, and if you're intent on slugging some on find some one your own size/strength and have at it hoss.
