I stated it wasn't right for anyone to hit anyone, even worse if it is a woman and i stand by that.

Now without knowing the facts a great majority of you on here have assumed that she started it, she deserved it etc etc. It is an opinion not based on any facts at all as the article makes no mention of who started what. She may well have done...she may not....but not one of you knows for sure yet your default reaction is that she's to blame and deserves it for going for him....again, despite not knowing that.....

I'm a whole lot more comfortable with my viewpoint, that's for sure

@ Arclight X

I once watched a well built women drunkenly attack a man with her stiletto shoe. What the fight was about, I have no idea, but she could have caused a very serious injury with her actions.

The man tried not to respond, but when she split his head open, he punched her in the retaliation. She didn't go down but she stopped immediately.

Your belief is all very noble but it's completely unrealistic and, if anything, offensive to women.

Nobody knows exactly what happened so we shouldn't judge! Also, there is a lot of unreported cases of women who beat up their partners, it isn't just men who are to blame in these situations there are thousands of abused men who keep quiet about what is happening to them. If that is how Hector ended up with a black eye, then he has been clobbered good and proper by a hefty hand !!

Its private what happened between them and now its spilt onto the track. He should of known this is was not going to be good for his P/R or sponsors if it leaked out. He should of tried to walked away. But hey fellas we all know that hell has no fury like a woman scorned!!

Its crazy to say you don't care what these guys do off the track - it's like saying "well, gary glitter has his problems, but his music is great so I'm still going to see him in concert and support him".

I also agree that women have to be treated equally, domestic abuse has to be gender neutral - its completely wrong whoever its between.
