Rossi's is showing a positive it's not like he's promising a win and that he'll kick all other riders but-ts. He knows he has a lot of work to do to be more competitive but also knows he's not that far off. As he gets more comfortable and is able to make adjustments the results should come. When that happens does that mean he'll be beating Jlo consistently I don't know but if he can occasionally then he'll be okay.

I find it ammusing that in order to try and maintain "hope" people want to reflect upon one single race and make it out to be the greatest thing the universe has ever seen. Rossi scored a very well earned podium in the wet. Good for him. Lorenzo, Pedro, Dovi, Stoner, Hayden, Marquez have all scored podiums somehwere along the lines of thier career. It means nothing in the here and now.

I have a great idea, how about instead of making insulting predictions, people just enjoy the race for what it is, racing.

It's just crazy enough to work.

when exactly have the hondas taken this "massive step forward"?? did they win the championship last year? did they win in qatar? did they even get in the top 2 there??? all bull$h!t!.. just because lorenzo isn't scorching the competition and rossi isn't really even a contender to win does NOT mean its the bikes fault. As the season pans out, you will see lorenzo rise back to the top while rossi falls further and further away from the top 3. just wait.

i think yam need that new gearbox asap or i can see dani and mark running away with 1st and second leaving lorenzo and rossi fighting for 3rd and 4th. and remember, rossi is only 0.2 a lap of lorenzo, that could all change with a different setup its that small of a gap.

honda found something in the second half of the 2012 season and have carried that on, its no longer about honda track or yam track, its how do we beat the Honda lol

The only way Rossi will podium is if he doubles his dose of Viagra, one flash at Sepang. I don't know why you keep thinking Marq has to crash, he's done much more than anyone has anticipated, so it's not unreasonable to see him in the top three here, (end of Yamaha track talk).
