Crash is telling only half the story. Read Cal's comments on autosport.com to get a better insight. Cal has even questioned the wisdom of Yamaha and Lin Jarvis of holding talks with Pol. He even claims that Pol cannot beat him anyway. Well a big mouth can only get u so far. The likes of Rossi and Stoner can speak their mind cuz they have the leverage of being exceptional talents. Cal shud understand he is talented, yes, bt exceptional?? He shuld jst shut up and do his job. I am sure he had burnt his bridge toward Yamaha. Bt now i m skeptical that he had done the same towards all of the factories. Which factory wud want a rider who would bad mouth them when they are not, let us say, at their peak performance level.

HAHAHA, serves this BT Sport loving **** right. He thought he would clever only signing a 1 year contract and now he is crying on his way to BSB.

They should get rid of both those two losers at Tech3 and replace them with Pol and Scott Redding.

The only thing slowing down Crutchlow is politics. But then again, that is why Casey checked out last year. Whats the point if Spain is gonna hold a monopoly on competitive bikes, might as well go to WSBK and have a legitimate shot with a quality team.

Cal, Rossi and Spies would do well to leave for greener pastures in WSBK, MotoGP is already lying 6ft under, it's just waiting for people to start throwing dirt on it.

I'm going to throw in the hammer speculating stuff.
Everybody is wondering what the move will be of Pol going to Tech3, I'm pretty certain it's a one year deal before he ends up in the factory team. Lorenzo at the moment doesn't look happy with Marquez already doing a good job. Dani's contract runs out at the end of 2014 so does Lorenzo's contract.
We all know that Dani won't grab a title and Honda was already interested in Lorenzo for this year.
The Yamaha well no seamless gearbox until the second part of the season.

2015 ladies and gentlemen

Yamaha Factory team

Valentino Rossi ( lead rider probably final season )
Pol Espargaro

Repsol Honda team

Jorge Lorenzo
Marc Marquez

Tech3

Dani Pedrosa
tba ( can't see Smith staying there )

Although Marquez is doing great atm, the upcoming tracks are all new for him without any advantage of testing there except Sepang and I guess he will do some stuff at Laguna. Marquez will be a serious threat for 2014 and JLo won't like this to beat th

@ prof-x.......Whilst I don't share your enthusiasm for getting Rossi out of Motogp I will concur that his future is relatively short. However, when he chose to leave Ducati they did all they could to keep him. Also when he joined Yamaha it was announced that he and Jorge would start the season as equals (there will be no number 1 and 2 in the team) so he obviously still has worth. And he is 4th in the Title hunt.

As for Cal, he won't get Rossi's bike until, on the one hand he regularly beats him on the track, and on the other hand sits above him in the Championship. That has to happen in the early part of the season, because when improvements to the bikes come it will become more difficult for him.

He should keep quiet too, Herve has pointed out that Cal's complaints about his bike being inferior aren't strictly true.
