Yamaha had the supremacy in bike stability under brakes and now JL has tweaked it in a completely different manner,, now already heard ducati boys speaking about their bike's good stability under hard braking throughout this season and they are trying to exploit that for a little better result... Effect of Rossi on ducati...

LMAO!!! Great post!!!

I can just hear Lorenzo telling the engineers "It brakes too hard, and I'm slowing down too quickly. Can you back it off? Or at least make it less stable..." ...and then... "It's also too powerful, only Valentino Rossi can cope with power like that!"

As for Ducati, the bike has barely changed from last season. The effect of Valentino Rossi on Ducati was to instantly slip out nearly 2 (TWO) seconds a lap. He still doesn't know how Stoner could get those lap times on it.

The Ducati has a very powerful motor, and great braking. Unfortunately, it understeers something cruel. So, did your boy fix that? If he didn't, he had no effect on progressing Ducati. It was a mid-pack runner for anyone except Stoner. It was a mid-pack runner with Rossi, and post Rossi.

But you're off the hook anyway, because riders don't develop bikes. They just don't.

re: "It will be the standard machines that both continue to use this weekend at Le Mans"

i say everybody on "lab rats". you're just wasting time now. honda V. yamaha is the show. "in-roads" aren't on the 2013 schedule when BEHEMOTHS are trading black eyes. s1 has spoken.

I must say things are looking better at Ducati evolution not revolution from now on tue twin spar will work you just gotta make it work.
Come on ge over the Rossi, Stoner debate, lets settle it Stoner is a balls to the wall win it or bin it fastest rider we may see for many a year, Rossi best racecraft of any rider for many a year. Get over it theyve both pushed GP machinery better than anyone else in their own times. Marquez is the new breed that is kinda a hybrid of both will he better than either one cause thier his bench marks at tye moment.
Ducati hopefully a top 5 this weekend have a feeling that crazy Joe could be the best duc rider by the end of the season not in points but in ability.

Yamaha wont be out-braking any Honda anytime soon, they would have to completely redesign their bike with a new motor to get the same balance, its just not happening, and even if they did manage it, their bike would be butchering it in the corners (suspension to stiff/setup complications/different philosophy).

If Ducati are confident on the brakes that must mean they are getting enough heat in to the front tire, but if they are running the same chassis, they are probably lacking some where else.

I am still amazed at how much better pace Marc has than pretty much anyone else, save Dani last race, right now it's his year to lose. Helps when Repsol are in your back pocket, Dani could have easily won this year had Marc been on a satellite bike and not competed directly with the team. Dani's team are going to make the difference for him this year, gonna be tough keeping up with the setup I think, hopefully Dani gets the same parts, he certainly isnt faster down the straight than Marc.
