He went out on his number 2 bike (according to the commentators), presumably it was set up differently for direct comparison.
Marquez sure does learn quickly, enough to pip Rossi by 4 thou of a second. Expect some more from him if it stays dry.

Bravooo Doctor...irrespective of your age you still improve in your M1...hats off to the legend...you were leading the first 2 sectors..but jammed by traffic...go go go vale i can't wait for Sunday....come on rossi....you are the guy to compete marc...Teach him how to do legendary overtake....you are the winner

Great times, sounding confident,. Means nothing unless its done on race day though. He can definitely still ride a motorbike!!! Not that anyone with an ounce of sense ever doubted it though.

However, hats off to Marquez again. Brilliant consistency from a rookie!!

If you type in Rossi on this site, it says spelling mistake! Eventhough Every 3rd word here is Rossi! Classic
