dovi, once again, showing rossi that there's nothing wrong with the ducati. too bad the 80 seconds crew didn't actually develop the bike so that it lasted more than half a race

Qualifying proves there is more to motorcycles than meets the eye.

Who would have thought Dovi would put the Ducati on the front row?

Dani and Rossi for that matter so far back?

And Cal only his second year in gp with no learning the tracks in the lower classes out qualifying the factory riders.

It all stopped making sense in 2011 when Stoner won the championship in 2011 and Valentino struggled!

Still anything can happen tomorrow.

@ kiwimike

You seem to have a thing about Casey Stoner don't you, you need to get over the fact he was one of the best around, One of his championships was on that Ducati which no one else has been able to ride icluding your hero Rossi though I could see Maequez possibly being able to do it.

As for championships I would say Mick Doohan won the most if you compare how many went down to the wire and were not a lot to do with injury's etc of other riders making it easy. for Rossi

this forum is like a netball schoolgirls changing room.

'ooh my favourite rider is better than your favourite rider'

the godamm topic in this thread is about MM yet we still get rossi/stoner comments and my dad is bigger than your dad

Looks like Lorenzo is in the excuses phase of being outclassed. He should learn early when a rider is better and just shut up. First it was thinking about the championship now it's race pace. He should just admit that he is the lesser rider.

Wrong the fanboys are just as nausating, when Rossi does well, thou that applies to fanboys of pretty much anything"

Why? Because they're positive about him having a good race? How am I wrong?

I watched the qualifying on You could clearly see when Rossi went out he was riding around a problem. I suspect he did a setup change and it back fired as he was not riding anything like his previous sessions. As they say "**** happens". I'm not defending him. He needs to sort it out. Period. If he doesn't it's going to be a long season.

Should he be in WSBK? No, because he's still a very good MotoGP rider. Would he enjoy WSBK more? Probably, because he could ride the way that got him so many championships, sliding the bike around without all of this traction control stuff. MotoGP has changed A LOT in since he RULED the series. It would be great to see how the ENTIRE field would do if they dialed they traction control WAY back and
