@ Hunter

So what about Dani, what has he won ?
What does that say about him and the competition ? Would you say Dani's skill has gotten worse ? I don't think it has. He' riding at his peak now and still hasn't one a championship. So Rossi's inconsistency since 2005 means nothing in that regard.

What about dani? He hasn't gotten worse, and yes in fact the competition HAS gotten better even around him!! (Marquez, stoner!!) he has remained about 2-4 place come the end of the season since joining gp.. You're right he is at his peak about now!! What exactly are you trying to prove??

Oh I see if its not championships you'd like to use as a measure, how about wins/podiums in a season? Dani has had about the same amount every year.. Has rossi? Even excluding Ducati, we'll see if his total this matches his totals from oh say pre-2005. If it doesn't, what is the reason for this, josh? Him getting worse, or the competition getting better?

its becoming appearant with each passing race that 46 aint what he used to be, I see him leaving moto gp with honor & grace if he cant get podium results this season,as he has stated he would.

Hunter, what has changed considerably since 2005 is the bikes and tyres. Tell me, do you think the bikes have got easier or more difficult to ride, or rather to race...

Anyone who's been watching long enough will know the answer to that one.

So, the competition has got different, not better. Put Jlo, Dani, Marc and Rossi back in 2005, all in their prime and I'd have Rossi on top.
