Vale had the 2nd fastest lap of the race, shame he binned it. Some of you people praising Cal and Dovi whilst bashing Valentino have very short memories, last year it was those 2 crashing and burning. Its looking like Honda domination this year, a dry 1-2 in Mugello would confirm it.

The level of ignorance on this page about Valentino Rossi has hit an all-time high. He hasn't done much wrong t his season at all and you're basing a wet race where he crashed from fourth after running in the podium positions, and his team mate finishing 28 seconds off Dani. Rossi was great in qatar, Texas not great had a bent brake so not too fair, and finished only 3 seconds off Lorenzo in Jerez.
If you complete fools think Crutchlow deserves Rossi's ride you need to think again. Crutchlow maybe quick on 1 lap pace but in race days he is not on Rossi's level, at all. Most of the mentally incompetent people bashed me hugely when i said Rossi would finish on the podium in Qatar, none of you piped up afterwards either. Don't say 'Crutchlow is on a satellite bike' blah blah, Herve Poncheral said it was basically the same as Vale and Jorge's the other day and it's obviously showing, so quit your 'Rossi is shocking' etc because i don't think 9 world titles, and 105 grand prix wins compares

@rabcati

you're kidding right? You can gauge on fastest lap in a wet race, the lap times just constantly changed, More important is how to keep it running.

to crutchlow's handful of podiums aboard a 90% factory bike. Dovi got 6/7 podiums on it last year ? it's obviously good. Rossi will prove his class, mark my words !

@27to93
I am going to be more interested as to whether Dovi is fast or not? Rossi was 5th last year 11.7 seconds behind the winner. Dovi has not completed one race this season in a higher positon than Rossi did last year, Austin excepted where there was no race last year, but hey presto he is doing so much better on the bike than Rossi did pff. what a lot of crap statistically he is not doing as well as Rossi who was second last year with the current world champion in front of him and the great Casey Stoner, then world champion behind him! But the percepton is Dovi is doing better, He was fourth with a satallite Yamaha and a rookie in front of him its all wishful thinking!

Congratulations to Dani, amazing result from Cal & good finish from Marquez. Hope Ducati can show similar form for the next dry race.
So much for crt bikes getting close in wet conditions.
