@jampop, I agree, although much credit to Dovi being better than Nicky (who I like a lot) even though Hayden has been on the Ducati, in it's various forms, since Jesus was in junior school.

@Codger This wasn't all about the bikes. This was largely down to riding. Pedrosa rode bravely and quickly. He made mistakes, but he was also riding the razer's edge. Jorge had a problem of some kind. Everyone else rode to their limits, and eventually, to their tyres' limits. Rossi did a great job to get to a position to challenge, but succumbed to pressure. It wasn't the bikes. He did a great salvage job after that.

The only Yamaha rider good enough to challenge Pedrosa at every race is Lorenzo. Rossi will only do it sometimes. Get used to it, or enjoy the pain.

rossi was ahead of JL just becuz of his wet skills....
both same bikes and similar setups but rossi was fast on it early in race just becuz of his wet skill...

JL is smarter than rossi to avoid such crash and secure max points
vale to eager to stay in top :( he should have let nicky pass and settle for 6.But if he had done tht all haters say he is quitter and not a fighter so give bike to cal..
haters wants both side of coin.
if same thing happen to stoner they say what a fight and he tried to win thats what racing is about....(words of casey after every fall).
so give rossi a break and rossi to need one..
i wnt time machine so that i can make rossi retire in 2010.

What a race! That Marquez is something else. To the Rossi fans still making excuses, what did you expect? The guys getting older, just had two shocking years on a bike his team figured they'd sort out in 80 seconds. Nemesis, the Greek goddess of divine retribution against hubris shows her face again. His time in the sun is over. He will fade into obscurity and the show will go on.

I still remember, during 2008 to 2020, Yamaha was just unbeatable. With Jorge and Rossi on podium every race. Yamaha won most of the races during that period while Honda struggled. Now, looks the bikes are even, but Dani is more confident of his bike and ability, and today, I think he drove a magnificent race.
Starting 6th on the grid, he made a great start in such conditions and make so many moves on Dovi, was just brilliant.
Congratulations to Cal. Give him a factory bike.

i am died hard rossi fan but not a blind one...
rossi shud have retired in 2010.
All fans sayin he's lost the shine or opponents r stronger now than earlier..
i go for the 1st option.
opponents r always stronger there's never a period when one can win riding a bike with one hand.early 2000's was good competion just haters wants to belittle vale and do not wants to accept rossi skill in his prime.(they need sum excuses for rossi 7 champs)
present rossi is not we want to see.he is slower than top 4 by .3 -.5 a lap.No one can be at the top has to step down.and we will see same in 2-3 years for JL and ped(i alredy seeing in marc).
with this pace rossi can easily win wsbk races.if he does than haters say no oppo is wsbk. :)
he shud retire man he not there..
but we will see JL and ped in their 30 i hope they can manage...

Why shouldn't we bash Rossi (actually it's his fans we bash).
You yellow pantie brigade bashed the living $hit out of Stoner JLo and any who dared to beat the beloved one.
Remember (Stoner the moaner moan moan moan moan).never smiles even when he wins not a showman like our beloved one what a dead$hit hahahahaha.
I'll bet he's a happy chappy now laughing his a$$ off happy with his beautiful wife and daughter.
