this guy is getting full support from hrc but bautista, on a misc parts satellite, is way ahead of him in the wc standings and has beaten him at every round except texas. no idea why honda chose lcr over the gresini team who has arguably had a stronger factory relationship (gibernau, simoncelli)...

HRC like Bradl for the Market Potential that is Germany, LCR are not as good as Gresini when it comes to racing, that's why they have had issues since before Randy joined their ranks. I have nothing against LCR, but to be frank they should be sporting a CRT and Gresini should be running two Hondas. That said, if they can make it work it will be something. I am just glad I am not listening to Toby Moody bad mouth Tony Elias anymore in order to distract the obvious issues that are at LCR with respect to them setting up a bike. Team's like LCR need more testing opportunities because they cannot make the numbers add up, and they need more experimental data to figure out certain things (imo).

Not quite sure why everyone rates him that highly anyway. He had a fairly mediocre season last year.

He's living dangerously in my opinion. HRC won't have been impressed by his form so far, considering he supposedly has full factory support and Bautista is kicking his a** so far.

HRC might be thinking about a replacement with proven potential, cough cough Crutchlow. Don't be surprised if Cal has words with Honda for next year, either for the LCR of Gresino seat.

The Honda boss talks rubbish. He said that the privateer Hondas are all the same and equal to the factory repsol bikes.

LCR - Nissen/Oehlins
Gresini - Nissen/Showa
Facotry Honda - Brembo/Oehlins

Contray to what uninformed commentators/journalists say, the LCR Honda is not a factory Honda and LCR does not get any factory support this year. Bradl signed a deal with HRC to get factory support in 2014 but there was a performance clause/term...(probably achieving 1 podium with top6 in the championship or something like that) the factories aren't that naive anymore.

Yes, there are some HRC mechanics walking around in the LCR garage but they are also in the Gresini garage...

LCR does have a history with crash happy riders.

Stoner earned his nickname rolling Stoner with the LCR 2006 Honda, Carlos Checa who crashed 37 times in the 2007 season but he was only the record holder for one year, de Puniet achieving the record number of 40plus crashes in a season. (during the 2008 season). And then there was Elias who struggled a lot with the bike.

The team seems to be cursed.

Have a feeling that he will improve as the season continues he did move from Brembo to Nissin brakes recently may explain his front end issues.
Paulo is correct that he is contracted for full factory support for next year.
Buatista is the one at risk riding with POS brakes and suspension earning an average wage and Shuhie being on record last year that Buastista would need some excellent results to recieve any real support which doesnt look likely at the moment.

Honda needs to scrap Bautista and Bradl and recruit crutchlow and redding. Bautista has peaked and never will achieve more than 2 podiums a year no matter the bike. And how does a former moto2 champ not get even a single podium in gp?? Time for some new blood on the satellite honda bikes..

What he needs to do now is to go straightaway to Pedrosa's place and ask him how he successfully ditched his old helmet and started using a "fog-free-helmet" in the middle of the season. Throwing away a race because of the second-rated riding gear for just a handful of sponsoring money is totally rediculous....
