Extremely disappointed that Rossi crashed, I am seriously doubting that he'll ever win another race (I hope he does though) seeing him win one more race before he leaves MotoGP will be great.

He isn't as cut throat, aggression and as fast as he was say in his 20's but he did not a bad job today up to the crash.

Lets hope he just clicks somewhere and wins THAT race.

On another note, reading some posts on here today as really disappointed me as a Motorsport fan as they have been vulgar, disrespectful and ridiculous, I though we Motorsport fans were better than this!

Not the result he was hoping for but thats racing. When you race, you sometimes crash!
Not rocket science.Dont think he was on for a podium but valuable points went away today. It happens to them all!
Such is life. Its not as if he was the only one to taste the gravel!

very, very entertaining race.

the days of lorenzo, dominating are over, between mark and dani, he is gonna find it very hard to win a race from now on. the hondas are to much

vally was doing very well, just a small mistake cost him, that could have happened to any rider.

the things people are saying about him on this site is a load of bull ****

looking forward to mugello

It's true that he is in his limelight years but even when he started the downhill path, in the second half of the 2000's, he proved to be the only one capable of doing back-to-back titles. Even superfit and onform Lorenzo is proving that it is not easy (as Stoner proved before him).

I don't think some people that comment on here can read or see, or understand what's happening, eg everyone is faster than Rossi, some bird brain says, but Rossi made 2nd fastest lap of race, then if you read his own words "i made a mistake & threw a good result away" how do people here that then make comments like excuses, excuses?

with each rider is taking points off the other, the championship is still not over for Rossi if he can raise his game...if he had finished he wd have been close on points w Lorenzo..

So Rossi is 34 and too old now? Seems to be main excuse.
Three years ago he got on a Ducati that had won the day before and was 2 secs slower.
How much did Yamaha pay this time?
