Maybe his pit crew should have held out the board to switch to G4 settings as well. Seemed to work fine for Dani.

I'm sure sombody at Yamaha has already had a look at the data and it should be pretty clear if the tyre was or wasn't sticking to the road properly. It isn't unusual in F1 for a set of tyres not to "turn on" during a stint.

Everyone else on the same tyre but Jlo has a problem?

Last year at Japan (I think), Jlo couldnt put his hand up quick enough to stop the race.

Maybe, He just didnt ride the conditions as well as the others?

re: "Dont know if this is genuine or an excuse"

jays never been one for making excuses. i for one believe 'em. same as with stoner, it's critical we listen to what these guys are telling us. if you shut your brain off like a dolt, problems never get solved, or worse people get killed.

that bike and his style are not good for racing hard in the wet, its no surprise he had his a** handed to him here and at Sepang. the 2012+ bike is completely in the wrong direction, if Ducati play their cards right they can be finishing in front of Yamaha by the end of the season.

@ Sepang.

Bring back the 2011 bike.

Been 2 races now the factory team bikes not up to it. Last race Jorge's (despite 2nd) and Rossi's race pace not good. This race Rossi crashed, that says alot of the bike as Rossi's bike control is at very high level. Tech3 on the other hand doing well with Crutchlow. Yamaha must be putting developmental parts on the Fiat bikes.
