"But the typically cool conditions
meant the 51kg Spaniard had
trouble generating heat in the
MotoGP-class tyres"

so is it the increased weight thats helping dani ?

Well done and nice to see him smiling again.

Well done to Dovi too. He seems much under rated by the many I have seen on Crash.net who compare him and Cal together to conclude Cal ain't so hot.

Dani doing the best thing he can do, quietly go about his business. Essentially he did that and last year came into his own. From just before midway last season, imo he became the best. He'd just beat Stoner in Sachsenring, caused Casey to crash trying to keep up with him and then he went on a huge run of wins. Now, even with Lorenzo and a new challenge in Marquez, he's gone about it all the same way. And it's working a treat. Win No.2 this season AND another wet race victory AND at a track where he has struggled in recent years. It's a good time to be a Dani Pedrosa fan certainly.

Great to see him take this one. He was always fast here in the past only for the mixed weather and tyre choice to ruin his chances, but not today.

Now he and his team are a bit smarter. Hope he doesn't blow it this year.

How can you not be happy for him!
Great result. If he goes on to win the title this year i will not complain one little bit!
Seven years on a factory Honda, and no silverware.
Could year number eight be lucky for him??
I wouldnt mind seeing the little fella lift the trophy.

Let's hope he finally makes it this year. It would be tough not to have such a great rider like him have no MotoGp title to show for. Schwantz did it in the end so hopeful Pedrosa will too. Time is running out for him (even moreso than for Rossi, who already did everything he was meant to).
