Well Marquez went from first to eight at the first corner so his start didnt help him much but yes he did make mistakes,But the kid is so much faster then anyone else right now its unreal watching him ride.
I think Lorenzo had tire problems,Bridgestone will never admit it(They didnt last year when Rossi and Spies suffered a tire failure) I have never seen Jorge suffer through a race like that and if his team missed the setup it would be a first in a very long time.

There was one who get a win at assen, and then get a factory bike, where he is now?

That one is on factory Ducati in sat. team. BTW, Assen win was on factory Yamaha, but he got 2 podiums (3rd, & second place + poll p.) in his rookie season on Tech3.

@ see ya. Lets not forget that MotoGP still has 4 Japanese factory bikes with much , MUCH greater resources and data than anyone else. Even if we disregard the Ducatis' as well as the other satellite bikes to race against, that suggests that 5th is the best Cal ought to be able to get (on paper) in the dry.
Yes you can say cal's bike is very good - but he doesn't have full factory support and resources to use.

This means that to get 4th or better needs a problem or DNF for those with better resources, or for those woth better resources to not perform anything like as well as CC for Cal to get on the box.

This happened yesterday and he took his chance. Due to the way things are, it'll take something similar to happen again for Cal to have the chance to podium again - even if he's riding slightly better than VR, JL, DP & MM at the time.

Trying to say if he doesn't podium consistently CC would be failing is simplistic nonsense. You have to have perspective and judge how he's doing

On factory Ducati, in satellite team? Whait a minute, where is cal? In CRT? Thats the point, all u guys talking like Mr. Crutchlow was getting this 2nd place on Lens Armstrongs tour de france bicycle, Tech 3 is super great team that can prepare a race winning bikes, only problem is that they cannot afford a race winning pilots. And Crutchlow is not the guy, who can regulary beat Rossi or Pedrosa or Marquez. Its only seasons 4th race, and Rossi is not 20 years, believe me he will win some races and get some good points. Sow i think he deserve his ride much more than everyone else on the grid, at least for this two years. However season is interesting, shame that Casey is not in busines, hope he will return some day, that will be an amazing battles....

Benito, you say Crutchlow isnt the guy to regularly beat the factory boys.Maybe not,but who else would you put on that Tech3 bike who would be doing a better job than Crutchlow is right now?
I cant think of anyone.

Talentfan, by saying to get a 4th or better he needs others to crash out is exactly my point!! Therefore it was a fluke for him to get 2nd place!! And unless similiar if not identical conditions occur again, he won't be getting any more podiums.. I never said anything about failing.

Lets face it , none of the Honda or Yam riders had the perfect race , Dovi and Hayden did very well.
Cal riding injured cot a crap start ( as usual) then got stuck behind George and Mildred ( Lorenzo / Rossi ) , got past them , took Dovi and did very well considering this is his third race at Lemans , how long have these other guys been riding her?? years!
Personally i thought they all gave us value for money , but as a English man i was chuffed for cal , and Redding in moto 2..simply fantastic.
