Fast, competitive, measured, controlled - this ride from Scott had it all (except maybe for an iffy start). Even with a poor start SR kept his head and pulled off some great overtakes while managing to look like it was all safe and considered.

The Scott Redding of 2013 is looking like a complete package. And he's still giving away 8kG to the smaller riders even with the combined bike/rider limit this season. Imagine how much of a disadvantage he had last season when the difference to Marquez was more like 20kG!

Dorna HAS to want Redding in MotoGP in 2014, and teams are bound to have a lot of interest in this guy. Right now he's looking a better prospect and more mentally solid than Pol Espagaro as well.

I'm hoping that Scott and Cal get seats sorted in MotoGP for 2014 - both deserve to be there and the series would be all the better with them in it.

Yes fantastic job by Scott and his team, very well deserved, I really hope he pulls off the championship this year, he's certainly looking really solid and unphased.
Scott and Sam Lowes in SSP are the best up and coming Brit riders to watch this year, real nail biting heart in your mouth rides so far:-)

The image that stuck with me after this was Scott next to his teammate in parc ferme.

Redding made Mika Kallio look like an emaciated dwarf. It really highlighted the huge difference in bulk that Scott has to overcome and makes his performances all the more remarkable.
