Stoner -
Spies was a many times AMA champion, a champion in WSBK in his rookie season ... and maybe just isn't going to mesh with the GP machines. His riding style may be better suited for WSBK.
Bradl was Moto2 champion (and some might argue only because Marquez was injured at the end of the season).

Bradley has only won 3 races. All in 125. Has been on the podium only 3 times in Moto2. Bradl won 5 races in Moto2. Podium 12 times. He finished consistently close to the aliens last year and some might argue he is having a rough start this year.

This is what I mean about denial. Is Bradley a nice guy? I'm sure. But relative to the pool of other riders in Moto2 ... there were several other riders that were more deserving when you look strictly at the numbers.

I'm a fan. I enjoy a good race. I want to see the best of the best. Those that deserve their ride. Earn their ride. Because ultimately it will mean a better/more exciting race for me, the spectator.

mandosgreat.

All the more reason to laugh at Spies results as a qualified rider but at least he won a race not like Edwards who had use of great yams for yrs.

In 2010 after 4 races Spies had 20 and Edwards 19 with all those Superbike titles got them the ride and similar points at this stage, waist of bike then too.

Bradl 2nd year they are tied for god sakes I don't care if he's having a bad start he should be with Marc as he beat him in Moto2 on a Kalex not a Mistral610.

Kent 0 Rossi 1 on the mistral 610 never to get close to BS points on that bike and I'd like to see Redding ride that against the rest this yr.

Really like the blog. The fact he is honest about his learning, and to ride a motogp bike is a brilliant insight, and he should be commended for it, not many riders are this down to earth. Bravo to Crash too, for picking someone who really gives something that has decent content.

Also a really good result for him, the fact he is learning and building experience, rather than going mental and potentially harming his development is also commendable.

You would think some commenters on here, and they are always the same ones, probably took their motorcycle test with elbows down, front wheel in the air .. personally i think most haters dont ride, as they would probably tear it round blind corners with driveways the other side or through dangerous junctions...ignorance is bliss afterall

Its took Scott 4 seasons to really stamp his mark in Moto2, and im really pleased for him too, but please dont top card UK riders, its pointless

Lets just hope Cal gets his wish of a factory machine, and

I'm just saying it should've been Pol on the Tech3 this year, Scott Redding, Luthi ... etc etc

Or the older Espargaro.

Instead we'll have to wait until the end of 2014 to find out the obvious. Smith isn't cut out for Tech3, or even likely GP. At best a CRT (rhymed!)

@bsb rules
I say he knows nothing about motogp! The guy finally wins a race on a bike that was the best bike in the grid! Lets be honest with all the luck comments about cal is this not true of 4 years 1 win redding. IF redding said this then that is wrong. That a said Bradley finished only 10 secs behind Jorge and 3 places in front of Rossi in his first wet race? I would say right now he is improving every race, every session so job done. Rant away but talk is cheap and this site is free!!
