@Al & @wtf thank you. Waiting for that.

I agree with you guys Karel Abraham has won a moto2 race.
Something Brad Smith couldn't do.
I was hoping someone would correct that.

Karel Abraham had a great rookie year on a sat Duke. He didn't have an M1 or the backing of maybe the biggest sat team, tech3.

So from your posts Karel is actually a better rider and has achieved more with less support.

Well pointed out.

KA - now in 9th season in GPs - 2 podia in 125 starts. Highest championship position, 10th

BS - now in 8th season in GPs - 23 podia in 117 starts. Highest championship position, 2nd

I know which stats make better reading from where I'm sitting, win in Moto2 or not

Those that have no time for Bradley are comparing him to Marc. It makes him look bad.
Try comparing him with Andrea, the other rookie. It makes him look not so bad.

At the moment there are three things in Bradders' favour
1 he's improving. 2 he's ahead of Bradl 3 he's not Spanish (nothing against riders from Spain, just that there are too many of them:).

So now improvement means 17 points in 4 races? With 1 top 10 finish (guess thats the improvement)!
Pirro is 4 points shy of Bradley as a test rider (2 races), on the Ducati.
There some real perspective! And it doesn't say much for Bradley.

Facts are in 2011 Cal's 1st season he finished 12th behind Barbera even Aoyama. Now look at him, All you naysayers had him written off, mind you he's no alien as you all like to call the top riders but he is fun to watch.

And Spies? Spies who

Since you guys like to compare riders. Here is a far better comparison. Hector Barbera and Bradley Smith. They started their Rookie seasons similarly.
However Hector is a much better rider coming into MotoGP. But, Barbera is pushing a CRT around the track now.
Going one step further, All rookie riders to Tech 3 (Toselend, Spies and Crutchlow) have out performed Bradley in the opening 4 races (since 17 points is improvement).
To ME, that sheds a lot of light on the Smith future.

Reminds me of the premiership football, if a manager doesn't win his first 5 games he gets sacked.. Herve seems to have the sense to wait and see if they settle.

Be a shame IMO if Cal didn't stay at Tech3. Why couldn't Yamaha filter a few more factory parts down to Cal a bit quicker? For sure he will give them some good data.
Honda seem more willing to give semi factory support to the satellites.
