I have no doubt that "Bradders" is a nice guy and is quite obviously a much better rider than me or any of the rest of the humans who post on here. BUT... its so freaking boring it brings me to tears. Just let loose and fling it round some corners like a lunatic. Massive chance in Moto GP, go nuts and make a name for yourself.

Heard a quote from John McGuiness not too long ago. In person. "Bradley is a nice lad and all... but he would do well just to go out and get a couple of hookers once in a while"

Brad is on a Tech 3 bike as he got a 3 year contract last year, 1 on the Mistral ( which is the dog of Moto 2 ) and 2 on the M1. This year is regarded as a learning year, and that's why there are no expectations from Tech 3. I'm sure the reason why he was given this is purely based on what the team saw over the last number of years riding their own, under developed Moto 2 bike.
If anyone expects to be able to jump on to a Motogp bike, and hit the front straight away, needs their lumps felt. Using Marquez as a benchmark is as stupid as using Iannone, they are on different bikes, with different demands from the teams.

@knock it off, that's exactly the point! Nobody expects a lot out of smith, even his own team!! He certainly doesn't expect much of himself aiming for only top 10 finishes. Might as well be aiming for last of the prototypes with 2 ducatis to spare. Speaking of ducatis you're right it's not fair to compare smith and iannone because smith is on a much better bike and still a point behind iannone!!

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing I wont more than more Ausies, Brits and Americans in the field, to even up the spanish and italian masses.

But Smith, does not deserve such a good bike based on his performances. Lets just face it, in the four stroke era marquez being perfect example, a talented youngster can get on a good bike first year and perform at a high level, this learning bull**** only damages his credibility.

Look at stoner, out qualifying the gods of racing in his first year, on a customer spec honda. Cals performances on the same bike have been exceptional.

@JS There are no "humans" on here...

@Gas it... Bradley is doing what he said he'd do. But he has never been in the same league as Stoner or Marquez. He probably won't win any races at this level, but if he can get the occasional podium, good luck to him.

I don't know why so many are offended by Bradley's blog. It gives an honest insight into his process. I hope he does well.

Imagine if he did as so many suggest and "went for it" without knowing the bike's limits, only to centrepunch your idol off the track, causing a career ending injury. Is that what you'd prefer?

The problem with forums is that they are largely populated with individuals with an inability to see beyond the bridge of their noses, or without the ability to digest multiple facts.

Shame really because it is good to have a riders insight into his season. Let's hope he isn't put off by the uneducated masses.

@Smokin39, Truefan.

people are just jealus and bitter, they have nothing better to do then slag off people like smith, spies, and/or others... they feel their hero should have they're intended seat for whatever reason so they post all their hate here, truly sad for them...

Its just common nature to diss rather then praise, as we are conditioned from years of news media by 90% bad news and %10 good... nothing you can do about it, haters are just gona hate, that's all there is to it.. and we all know who they are, so why buy into their post , I find it better better to just ignore them, an not just them any acknowledgment at all...

I love the self appointed Psycho-Analyst in here. Strange how they lash out when someone comments badly about Bradley, yet they slag the other posters, claiming they cant see past their noses and such. How does that make you better than what others have said about Bradley? This forum is for talking about what is posted, Good or Bad. (not bashing other peoples knowledge of the sport)
You really need to get over what people say about your golden boy Bradley Smith. Thats their opinion! If I wanna say he is worthless, that doesn't make me any more uneducated than you. Its OPINION!
If crash.net wanted nothing but positives said about Smith, they WOULD NOT have a link to comment!
You like Bradleys Dribble, I don't, there is no point saying people don't know what they are talking about in opinion! If there is some fact you can state to support how great Bradley is, by all means show me. Other than that its all OPINION!

If Pedrosa, Lorenzo, Rossi or Marquez were to post their thoughts about each race. Would they get the indicative 10% good - 90% bad?..... I seriously doubt it.

Think about it this way, for Bradley to generate as many hits on crash.net, positive or negative. I am sure makes his sponsor "Optimum Procurement" really happy!
