Valentino rossi if you remember the year when he moved to yamaha was on his way down where he was never a match for Jorge Lorenzo. In ducati he couldnt make any effect even after bringing his entire crew when Casey was winning with it every now and then.Even if casey stoner comes out of retirement it will be ducati factor let me make this very clear and doviziosos, haydens, lorenzos will not make any difference. it has to be 1. Stoner 2. Marquez and 3. Cal and I would 1 % doubt on innanone because he is fresh.

Valentino Rossi is done he may win a race but i am almost certain it will not be due to sheer pace but others mistake. Simple as that. no disrespect. I have been watching these from 1991 Wayne, Kevin and Doohan era(during my school days and now married and father of a son :)) this is how its going to span out. Lets see if i am wrong..

Rossi is still a champion. He has achieved more than any other rider in Motogp today. It seems some people here forget that fact. Regardless of personal opinions from any poster on here, Rossi has had an outstanding career and is deserving of the respect he has earned. Nobody here has the right to talk down about any rider in Motogp or any other motorcycle racing series for that matter, unless you have beaten these two wheeled heros yourself. He may not dominate every race anymore, however he is still a hero for many. I find it is not hard to support Rossi and still support ALL the other riders on the track. Show these men respect because the simple truth is we can not do what they do on the level they do it.

Julius,dont be so ridiculous.
You do Stoner fans a disservice with comments like that.

Is this weekend the one for Rossi?
He certainly has good memories of this track!
Would be nice to see the 'old fella' pull it off in front of his home crowd. Will be hard work though. You know Marquez and Pedro are going to make it very difficult for Rossi and Lorenzo.

@Raju TV "Valentino rossi if you remember the year when he moved to yamaha was on his way down"...oh really? As I remember it, Yamaha hadn't won anything with the M1 until Rossi arrived. Between 2004 and 2009 he then won 4 world titles on it. He was badly injured in 2010 but still managed 3rd place. Does that sound like a rider 'on his way down'?

I do think now is the time for Rossi to hang up his leathers, but his record is beyond doubt.

haha! Jules you loser, the Ducati is a no way a yardstick for a Motogp bike. A prototype motogp bike should be the absolute pinnacle of engineering, reliability and usability. Not an understeering red barge!

By his comments he's not expecting a win, but maybe a podium, but for that he'll need to beat at least one of the other three...., but which one? Maybe Lorenzo if the Hondas prove to be too fast again ? or Marquez if he crashes? Will Cal be in the mix again? It should be an interesting race and at his home track I expect Rossi will be giving his all. I can't wait for Sunday.
