Stop going on about Casey on the Ducati, Ducati had better tyres that year and a significant straight line advantage. The bikes are completely different now, it's like saying Schumacher won 5 titles with Ferrari so why hasn't Alonso won any. Idiots...

@ Mugello - agreed to a certain extent, but I think he was trying to hold a tight defensive line against Hayden, and lost it. If he was planning on pushing later, he should have let Hayden through and tailed him until he was comfortable to push again. He's human, so he makes mistakes, and I think Le Mans was his mistake. Hopefully he does better this time round though

@ Mugello

I am not sure he crashed at Le Mans because of Hayden, although it certainly looked like it... It think it was probably that bump he sais he hit or that he was pushing the hardest when the track was starting to dry out . If you look at the times, he set the second fastest lap of the race , second only to Pedrosa, the lap before he crashed.

Rossi was trying to break clear, and he failed. If the situation was reversed, where Hayden fell off being chased by Rossi, the sheep would claim that Hayden fell because of pressure from Rossi.

My whole issue with the Rossi brigade is that we endlessly heard that all Rossi needs is a competitive bike with a better front end and he would be winning races and championships. He now has that, and if Stoner would be performing at the levels Rossi is now the brigade would be calling for his head.
