Looks to me like you may spend the rest of the year trying recover points....I say Honda 1-2 again in Mugello. It good be good if we could have a Lorenzo -Rossi- Cal battle for the third step.

is it me or does lorenzo in this picture look like he's trying to adjusting/attempting Marquez's riding style. well, it sure looks like it, knee tucked-in, elbowz out and low.

Poor result for Lorenzo last time out and he will want to put that out of his mind this weekend.
Keep focused on the task at hand.Not going to be easy though with the Honda boys looking very strong.

@copycat and checkitout

your posts show how much you really watch motogp and how blind people like you are regarding riders you love or hate.

lorenzo and many others have been dragging elbows for ages...marquez is not the first, he is probably the 100th rider in history to do so...there's a bunch of photos of several riders you could find on the net with their elbows kissing and dragging on the tarmac...and as for lorenzo in particular, he drags his left elbow whenever he's attacking a high-lean left corner...never the right corners..something in his style or whatever...

but sure, continue being blind and bitter and hollow..

He doesn't look like he's trying to imitate Marquez , he's just leaning like the all do. Marquez hangs his body off the bike, and a lot more forward towards the front, so that his elbow touches the ground. I'm not sure how he does it but it has to be more physically demanding ... I will be interesting to see if he can keep the same style as he gets older.

Lorenzo,If you don't have a perfect set up& bike , you will get 8th or 9th position . that's what happened during last leman's......... .& thats the problems of ducati in all dry races .

Maybe Lorenzo doesnt have the sweet edge grip he used to like last year and he has to ride with less lean angle on the bike because Bridgestone have built a tire for Marquez.... Lorenzo gets very low to the ground though, he is much more impressive than Marquez because Lorenzo is actually riding closer to his bike where Marquez is overextending himself in order to exert more control about the lean angle in case the bike slips out. Marquez is too rough at the apex imo, but it doesnt seem to be bothering his tires.

It's pretty clear though, Dani could have won at least 3/4 races this year had he not had setup issues during the first two rounds and Marquez probably could have won all 4 rounds if he didnt consistently make so many mistakes. Honda can probably win this race by about 10 seconds, especially if the tires are not giving them any problems.

Wonder if Bradl will be able to get 3rd? He did pretty good last year despite running Hayden off.
