“As always in the qualifying we suffer more than the others. They use the slipstream and are able to go a bit faster than me” – Valentino Rossi.

Of all the animals in the world, why did he choose the turtle? I don't get it. Just certainly not the animal for racing on land. hehe! but il try to ignore the helmet. Let's go Rossi!!!

Rossi clearly has the runs on the board. So what if he is a bit slower than he used to be or the others are quicker. The fact is that he recognises his fans and has given them joy. Unlike the likes of Stoner who is an arrogant little sh---.
I have personally met stoner at an event in Australia and all he could talk about was how he hated Rossi and even went as far as saying that nobody in moto gp is as good as he is and they don't know what they are doing and he is a much better rider than all. He even went as far as saying that he met Michael Schumacer and called him a 'wanker' which may or may not be true. However, stoner could definately not take any criticism.

Not only was he on the best bike there was on the grid last year, he got his **** handed to him by Lrenzo and Oedroza and finally left after falling so often trying to keep up and he got scared of being in 2 wheels.

Now he is on 4 wheels and he is getting his **** handed to him by junior kids or old farts! Some racer he is

There is not a person here who has been following MotoGP for a long time that does not know what Rossi has done for the sport.

But he was exposed at Ducati at only being good on the right equipment,
He once again is blocking the chance of a possible future champion getting a factory ride.
I would rather see him fighting at the front in every session, but that is just not going to happen, as R6 rider said he got 7 poles in 09, so the excuse of not qualifying well is just that, a excuse used by his fans to cover up for his poor performance.
Something you should not have to do for a 9 times world champ.

Lets hope he is on the podium for the race or it will be more excuses.

@ George

Wow get over Stoner seriously people like you are bitter *****s. If anything Stoner just told it like it was best bike on the grid my ass the tyres suited the Yam in the first half of the year both repsol riders suffered chronic chatter and the extra last minute 5kg may also have effected them worse than the Yam. Stoner got injured at a wierdo infield Nascar circuit with no grip but you forget to metion he also won at tracks he didnt historically do well at. Then after his injury came back won at the island and had a solid finish to the year championship wise and missed out on the tracks he normally dominates at.
Also Pedrobot hasnt got a title just a whole heap of race wins how terrible of a racer is he.

@R6ryder I didn't say that guys weren't getting tows but at least 4 of the 6 guys in front of Rossi didn't get tows on their fastest laps. The only reason I mentioned Jorge's consistent speed was because for Rossi to win he must get past the others and still be able to match Jorge's speed. Notice that I didn't say that he won't be on the podium. He should be on the podium given his love of his home track and the fact that Marc is injured.

Lets not forget that Rossi is riding Jorge's bike conditioned for him the way he wants it, since 2012. Perhaps even bringing over some of the 800cc technology to the 1000cc bike. Jorge's 2013 choice of the new frame/chassis seems to be the way to go.

Rossi needs to throw caution to the wind and try Jorge's way as he is always .500 secs ahead of him it seems.

Good luck Rossi you're a hero already, just finish up your career with a few wins and lets welcome the new Rossi a.k.a Marc Marquez.
