Bautista was being passed on the outside by Rossi. When the course changed to the right Rossi became the inside rider but had a totally different line to the corner because having passed on the outside the corner before had a tight line to the apex. Bautista had a wide line to the apex due to his tighter line in the previous corner. They took the series of 2 corners exactly opposite largely because if the result of Rossi's crap start and Bautista's baulk. They could not occupy the same track position so they crashed. Both were of the opinion that the other caused the crash and from they're perspective they were right. And both wrong. Racing incident. Move along.

exactly caused by bautista.
from the helicopter view both rossi and bradl was take outside line, and iannone was aware of bradl and voiding the collision, but bautista was take risk try to block rossi line. bautista try to regain position on tight line, rossi was not try pass by force. rossi know he was already in front of bautista
IMHO .... it was racing accident , bautista take lesson hard.

Some riders race with intelligence, they use their heads.
"Race from the shoulders Up"

Some riders race with active spiteful aggression, i.e. they don't think just react.
"Race from the shoulders down"

In this incident it's evident that Bautista races from the "shoulders down".

Mugello is the one track Valentino wants to do well on, it is his home track, he lives just down the road! If you actually watch the incident , especially from the helicopter camera, it is clear that Bautista collided with Valentino when he cut in to try to get past him, perfectly clear !! It might be deemed as a racing incident, but it was Bautista's fault nop doubt about it! Remember when Bautista took Lorenzo out in his mad rush to gain places last year?? It was a real shame this, as I am sure Valentino would have done well here, but that's the way it goes and roll on Barcelona!

Vale did well to avoid any injury by pullin the bike down before hittin the wall. That was a dangerous crash. He hit the wall hard. This could have been more dangerous than his 2010 crash if he couldnt get off the bike before the crash.
