They collided on the entry to a right hander. Rossi was in front and to Bautista's right.

Didn't see him - bs.

No-one's fault - bs.

Racing incident - yes, Bautista left his brain in the toolbox.

Rossi could have avoided this if he decided that he aint above getting a tow in qually to get a better grid position and its funny that the number two Yam always has clutch problems it was the same when Jorge started at Yam, Colin when number two to Rossi, Ben Spies last year, and now Rossi as number two at Yam.

Anyway, Fagtista still doesn't know his way around Mugello. Rossi crashed three years ago slowing down too much and losing tyre temp. because Bautista was trailing him all the way. That's just what Copa del Rey GP needs... three Spaniards in the lead and the fourth one knockin down everybody's hero. Limit the number of drivers from one country NOW. Oh, sorry, almost forgot - Ezpeleta is...

Bautista is bullshitting. The Yamaha was slightly ahead or even next to him, he would have known a bike was there.
What he thought he could do, was drive out of the corner faster than the bike going around his outside and cut off the line. Unfortunately his ambition far outweighed his talent and collided with Rossi.
Saying he didnt know a bike was there is ******** because it happens at all levels of racing. Maybe he should pull his head out of his @rse and then he'd be able to see or hear.

I honestly do not understand all the hatered towards Rossi. Thank God that neither of these riders were seriously injured. Valentino Rossi has done more for the sport that is MotoGP than any other rider. Whether you are a fan of his or of any other rider, that fact cannot be disputed. He has also achieved more than most riders and he continues to be competitive. Luck plays a very big part in this sport and he has had his fair share of "bad luck" for the past couple of years. Rossi will always be in the History books unlike most "posers" on here who would get lapped in less than 5 laps against ANY of these riders. Thanx Rossi for NOT going fishing :)

Once again, Rossi's talent was outweighed by his ambition. After all, he was trying to overtake Bautista. Bautista may have closed the line, but since he could not have known Rossi was there or even making a move, that's his right.
Had the roles been reversed, i would say the same about Bautista being too ambitious and ill bet for the fanboys, it would stil be Rossi the victim. This was simply an unfortunate racing incident.

Watched it several times and without a doubt Bautista caused the crash by being overzealous even the commentators agreed it was his fault. Baustista should be penalized.
