Hoping for a podium, not aiming for the win? hmm....
IF JB puts a good bike under him, and IF he gets a good Qually, and IF he gets a good start, then it could be a good race for the fans. Too many 'ifs' for my liking.

The first time Rossi gets a front row spot followed by a good start he, and the rest of us, we'll see if he has still got what it takes.

Agreed Codger he is lost in qually and having to cut through the pack to not lose sight of the leaders. If he continues to start on row 3 these kind of situations are likely. However I still think he has better race pace than Dovi or Cal and pose a threat to the others if he was say fourth coming out of the first bend

Rossi has proved he has still got it in the 1st race of the season. Hes been away from the yam, for 2 years and its changed a bit since he last rode it. Hes had a bit of a hard time. He is positive and humble. I cant wait till he wins.
Come on Rossi !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's usually really good on a friday, but messes up on a Saturday. Its his own fault, but he'll hopefully get it sorted.

Qatar was so promising. There was so much pressure on him then, and he delivered.

He's got to realise that there should be that much pressure on him, and intensity in his performance at every single qualifying and race for the entire year. Its no mean feat!!!!

He is under pressure, he knows he needs to qualify as far away from Bautista as possible, haha.

No, seriously, Burgess needs to come up with some solution for his qualifying. I find it puzzling that Rossi is the olny rider who seems to be struggling so much with this new qualifying format.
Anyway, if he gets front row it should be a good race for him. Third row and another Qatar is the best he can hope for. I'd love to see him in a battle with Marquez again though.
