@Garcia thanks for the Info about the tyre. I was wondering why Rossi wasn't qualifying well. He would always be aggressive in the early laps of his races so I was expecting him to do well with the shorter qualifying duration.

For Rossi's team preparing a race setup comes fluently, to maintain racepace is what rossi is good at,, so forget using all free practices to work with race pace and setup, invest laps on qualifying setup and pace to sort out real serious problems...

Despite his front row start in most races, his qualifying results are always a step behind his race success rate, that means he is too good in making up for qualifying mistakes, but those days are long gone,, so focusing on qualifying for good starting position will give him a great relief on race day,, and that's the way to go....

I'm not the biggest Rossi fan, but I do give him a bit of credit, assuming what Spies said is true, then JLo has better parts, support, etc. Not trying to be an apologist, but I don't think even with better support he would be leading the points right now.

IMO, he is not slow, just everyone else has been getting faster. You can have all the past wins in the world, but come Sunday, its all about who crosses the line first, and I don't see him doing that this season.

I would love a battle between the 4 aliens down to the last lap. Imagine they were all grouped up together for the last lap, Rossi in 4th and overtaking each corner until the last where he pulls another 2009 on Lorenzo. Wouldn't that be something...

Valentino can do it, his brilliant ride in Quatar proved it, but he has just had bad luck, something that can happen to any rider there. As for the new qualifying, I don't like it either as it is all a bit sporadic and in the last part riders are flying round in a long line with nobody able to put in a fast lap because of it. The one at the front is towing the rest of them behind him and there isn't enough time for anything to change so it all falls apart!

Proud to see the Rossi fans backing him, cant bring myself to cover so many excuses etc but if its getting you by, well done.

IMHO Rossi has been a great performer of the past but the competition has excelled to the point that even Mr Motogp cannot do much for him anymore, but that is just part of life.

To me his WAS a Champ but since 2010 he played his cards and fell from grace whilst he team mate grew up and now owns him week in, week out

EDIT by CRASH.NET! Stop baiting please.

At the end of Catalunya's main straight they flick the bike right and immediate left, straight ahead and the next long right hand bend....that's where i wana see Vale, Jorge, Dani and Marc together(fan boys can choose the order)....:) pray for it guys...that's gonna be a spectacle...
