Sete

Think a bit, If Rossi dont make points he have to go down on the Championchip!! The crash at Mugello was what cause Rossi to loss is place for Dovi or do you really think that Dovi would beat Rossi at Mugello?? Keep dreaming if you think that because Ducati still have a lot to improve..! About Cal 4sure he is proving that he learn a lot year by year but why he deserve the factory Yamaha?? i think first he need to finish this year beating Rossi and then after that Yamaha can think on give him a chance because Rossi have 2 year contract, but you have to think again because do you think Cal will be the number one rider at Yamaha? also do you think that is corrente bike have any big diference to the factory? i mean only Lorenzo is using the latest chassi the 2013 spec 2, Rossi didnt find any diference and use the olde version the 2013 spec 1, Cal is using the latest chassi from 2012 or maybe he allready have the 2013 spec 1 we never know that but at least he had have the 2013 engine

2013 engine so i dont understand the probleme, only after mid sesson when yamaha arrive with even more new parts its when Cal will face problems or not some new parts can be worst but this we never know only when they test on real race the parts is when they will find if its good or not!! Like i say before Cal just needs to make a good year and show consistency, he dont have the time for wait for yamaha Rossi had contract until 2014, Cal needs to find a Team in the end of 2013, if he make a good year 4sure he will find one place, maybe with Suzuki dunno but i wish the best because is worcking hard to stay on Motogp very brave rider

"It is a lot about the strategy of having a clear lap and also no one behind you"

400% correct.

As usual Rossi has identified the core problem immediately. Qualifying these days is mostly about strategy, sometimes it pays to qualify lower and fool the opposition to think you have no pace. Rossi has doen thiss very well in the past, he is the strategy master of motorsports after all.

Also, there should be a law to prevent people getting a tow from great riders like Rossi. In qualifying you always see other riders fighting each other for the privilige of riding just behind Rossi.

So many times Rossi has lost pole because these Spanish riders like Dani, Jorge and Marq use his tow and cheat.

This time will be different . Gloves are off. Rossi will not allow tow on the long Catalunya straight and take an easy pole from the cheaters.

I dunno about qualify i think it could worck this way like a normal qualify if some riders change there atitude, sometimes its really embaressing to wach riders waiting for others only to find some time and they really find time we wach that many times, i understand there point of view but its anoying and sometimes not really fair but is not only in Motogp also on small classes speasaly in Moto3 where the engines are really weack and we wach outstanding changes on the grid only because of a good sliptream, i dont really like that!! I think it would be better like was in Wsbk in the past where one rider leave the pits make one lap to warmup and then one flying lap trying is best, this way every rider would have total focus and a clean track to find the best lap, offcorse for this they will need a special tyre that warmup faster for safety but its the same for all the riders.. I think this way Motogp would be fair and would be more exciting because you would have the optortunity of follo

Since 2010 every race weekend Rossi comes out with excuses to the point that even though I would love to see him win, I'm over all his BS.

Next he will have Mr Motogp change the qualifying rules so Rossi can do better, I think it's time he went away

Some people here just need to shut there tr*ps.

Rossi this Rossi that, Rossi retire . Can we just enjoy the race.

Cal will only have the opportunity to ride this bike after 2014 and the chances are slim. So stop wishing, hoping and repeating the same statements over and over again, shows you've ran out of words. Brains prob out of service.

U guys take the cake

Thumbs up to the anyone who wins this race.

Rossi's major trouble causing factors in qualifying are
1. At 34 you don't adapt to new bike quick and ride the wheels out of it, look at MM at 20 how quick he has adapted to stoner's Honda, its down to age factor more than anything else.
2. Most riders riding below him all weekend suddenly pops ahead of Rossi in last three minutes of qualification, because that is when all riders go for that gasping lap pushing beyond their 100%, again at 34 you don't push beyond 100% as good as the young guns.
3. Important of all is, shorter is the selection process, higher is the chances for luck to play better role for underdogs to sneak up, that forces unfair waste of time for him to fight and come ahead of underdogs and in the mean time leaders run away.

So Rossi faces the most odds than anybody else in the current grid, so its not easy days for him mates... If he wins one race this season, then he is a real superman... Better bring your expectations down but still I love him and expect qata
