Yeah you right on that Lorenzo did have some problems but i think he did its best but we never know!! Yes 4sure factory is factory is factory but until now the factory dont have advantage, maybe will have after mid sesson or when new parts arrive!! But today and for tomorow the machine that Cal have to race is one Top machine from Yamaha you can bet on that you can campared Top speeds, regular laps, fastest laps form this GP and the Other allready done and you will find similar numbers , you can wach that TECh 3 has the bike to perform.. I wish the best for Cal is very brave and he whants to be here on Motogp family, is proving is talente and until now making great year, but at Yamaha i dont wach spot for him because Lorenzo is number one rider and Rossi have contract until 2014, Cal needs one Team at the end of this year and between any of the Team he had left i dunno maybe Honda would like to Run 3 repsol again wiould be great for Cal, or Suzuki with this nre project, i

i dont wish Ducati to Cal, only if they find a better bike until the final of this year.. Anyway first he still needs to make this year and he needs to keep this performance, last year Cal start really good but after mid sesson he start to crash a bit.. Lets see if this year he Rocks with is best performance

Oooh do we really need to argue amongst each other? everyone has their thoughts and no of us are experts. I see that Lorenzo did have a problem and he did come in and take the spare bike as his number one was broken. The fact is no matter what chassis/engine set up people had they rider still had to ride the machine and get it to the grid.
The fact that for weeks every Rossi fan has been spouting that he loves Cataluyna and his season starts here well its been said this is round 6 he was supposed to love Mugello another one of his tracks but he failed to perform there in qualifying it matters not the race tomorrow will see JLO and Dani take off Cal will try and get to them and we will wait and see where Vale ends up but Alvaro and Bradl are in front of him and he wont be able to bully and pass them easily.

The problem with Rossi m8 is that he almost never qualify good!! And has i Fan i can tell you this he allready make many commentater loock like folls, because they only talck about numbers and many times come race day and Rossi was there winning or on the podium.. 4sure is not having the best year for now but in qatar he was 7 on the grid he finsh 2 and he had lost some time with Dovi has you must remember.. Americas was a new track everybody was fool by Marquez, Jerez i think he shold have done better yes but 4 place not that bad, Lemanz was is fault no doubt but Wet races sometimes are cruel, Mugello m8 he qualify bad buti can garante that on race he would rock is pace was very good but saddly Bautista just crash into him nothingh he could do he crash hard he could get serius injure.. Now its Catalunha and its other great race for him because he enjoy riding here, 4sure he qualify bad but on this race i bealive on him we will see tomorow

The Yamahas were looking great, until Dani put in an incredible lap, out qualifying his teammate by quite a healthy margin. Dani got the job done when it mattered. I think the race will be special. Rossi and Marquez are fast, though neither qualified well. Cal is well placed, and Nicky, where did he come from? Instead of sniping at each other's favourite riders, enjoy that all three makes, including a satellite bike, are in the top seven.

As a big Valentino fan at the start of season, i think that hes really got it, but for now its sure that he cannot make one really fast lap to be in first or secon row. Yes practice is good but when it comes to qually, youngsters got real fast laps, what Dani show t.oday is that his on another league, as Jorge maybe or even Cal. Cal is really great. Tommorow for me will be a break point sow if Vale wont finish on podium i really think that thats it, finish! Maybe some podiums or 1 or 2 wins, no titles anymore. And if its sow maybe he really need to find some team that he will not be in such pressure to ride just for fun and to entertain fans. And Cal on a factory ride thats will be fair!

They are are ALL making as much use of engine mangement/traction control systems as they can....

VR has been consistently off the pace all season - around 0.5 sec or more in qualifying, and usually a bit less in races. Only marginally better than he was on the Ducati, and at times worse - he's frequently been beaten by them this year.

JL will probably be stronger than he looks in the race, but hard to bet against DP.

Think this may be the first wekend we've seen a track where the Hondas work well AND there's enough heat about for him to get his tyres fully up to temperature...

Some of you seem to be saying that because Rossi can't Quallify well he should either give his bike to Cal and/or retire.
The previous 2 practice sessions Rossi finished top Yamaha. You weren't saying that Jorge and Cal should retire at that point.
The truth is that the others can put in a one off quick lap and Rossi can't. So what? Rossi is a couple of tenths off of Jorge and Cal's times, and he'll find that in the race.
The problem is that he'll also find 3 or 4 slower racers in front of him, while the top 3 disappear into the distance. Probably Marquez will be with them too.

Yes Yamaha had a good reason to hire Rossi, money. Furusawa said Yamaha's racing division didn't want Valentino Rossi to return in 2013, but Rossi's massive commercial value to the team won in the end.The marketing department of Yamaha rightly believe that Rossi will help them sell more motorcycles. He will because there are legionsthat will buy anything with a 46 on it.
