It seems they're both pretty well matched. Thou Marquez needs to learn a little more.

I expected these kind of fireworks to be coming from the Yamaha tent but it seems Lorenzo is making every teammate look average since he developed the bike.

Bummer.

Marquez is so good its scary. I don't even wanna begin to think how much better he will be next year when he has more experience. That near crash towards the end did absolutely nothing to damage his confidence and will to take 2nd from pedrosa and it is so entertaining. although I will say i like it the way it played out today with him cus he was endangering the well being of his team mate and not a Yamaha rider. Very admirable threat, even though he seems a bit dangerous.

MM for me is just a copy cat rider. He spends every session, every QP and Every race sitting behind Dani mostly or if not then Jorge. I know he is a rookie but it's like he has never ridden a bike. Look at Smith (never follows Cal or anyone else) or Andrea they learn there own way and style but MM just sits behind and copy.copy copy. In QP this does not work for him, but come race day he never leads. If he was fast or wanted a win then go past dani and chase Jorge, no champion settles for beating his team mate when he could win, as the season goes on MM looks more and more ordinary, Quarter of a seasons worth of Private testing before the season began, 6th race in and he still needs to Follow and Learn, someone needs to telll him if you follow someone home each you AINT GONNA WIN!! Plus he is lucky as, he is exciting but he looks out of control sometimes!!

Wkwkwk..that's funny darkwak..Smith didn't follow Cal bcz he can't..he's n0t as fast as Cal..if he did, he'll crash in 2 laps..MM was doing what champs do..follow through out 4/5 of race n pass..even Vale did that in the past..
I can't believe that MM still on the bike..clearly against the law of physics..

@go99go

Using poor English like "cummon dude" and "your are not belong here" makes me think you may be a bit young and immature!
The proper use of good english will command more respect from us elder fellows who think Rossi is actually very young.
Cheers.

@ Darkwatnight:

You don't seem to know what you are on about at all! You know what smart people do ? Sit back and observe the best at work and learn from them if and when the opportunity presents itself. Especially if they are sitting on the same bike as you are. It's clear that Marquez is exactly one of these type of people which is also one of the reasons why he learns so quickly. You know what the not so smart people do ? Run into an unknown situation head first without looking and come out looking like an idiot when it all goes pear-shaped. Bautista for example seems to be in the latter camp. And we saw the result of that today.

I would also like to ask you, when the last time was that you saw a rookie with 1 win, 2 poles, 4 fastest laps and 5 podiums in their first 6 races in Motogp. I'm positive the answer is NEVER, so your whole post is complete nonsense.....

I got to laught with this commente saying Sorry..ehehe what he would say if he had touch Pedrosa and both crash?? its better not to think on this, but the fact is this on simple words on each race Marquez has been the Dog and Pedrosa has been the Bone, this time the Bone escape next time the Dog will bite again..ehehe Will Pedrosa face the Karma of pass for the same situacion that he creat to Hayden in 2006?? with Marquez crashing with Pedrosa when he will need a lot the points? Marquez allready made History come into live again with that move on Lorenzo..ehehe

Another blind lemming following the crowd, Well Lorenzo managed 3 poles 3 podiums 1 fastest laps and 1 win in his first 3 races and what? As you seem to be missing the point I am making here I will spell it out. If MM is so fast and a potential champion WHY is he sitting behind second place riders every race bar 1?? Qatar rode in 3rd, Jerez rode in 3rd, Muggelo 3rd, Catalunya you get the picture. The difference between this tactic which works that Rossi and the like use dto use is they did it to people in FIRST PLACE...Its like his only aim is to beat his teammate or more likely he can only follow someone on the same bike!! I am not decrying his skills I am saying he does not have the attitude to win races if by the 2-3rd lap in he has consigned himself to 3rd place. In his day Rossi would never have done that (and this is who he is being compared with)!! So the tricycle sign Lorenzo has for now Sums up MM rookie season thus far for ME!!

@ Darkwaknight:

The only one who is blind is quite clearly you ! Are you trying to compare an experienced Rossi to a rookie in his first 6 races ??? I mean really ?? You talk as if Rossi was winning left right and center in his first year. He wasn't !! He was crashing and occasionally finishing on the podium during the first half of 2000. It took him half a year to get to the point of finishing on the podium regularly, something Marquez has done from the get go! Has it ever crossed your mind that Marquez is riding at the absolute limit just to follow Pedrosa and Lorenzo ? I am sure if Marquez could go much faster than them and disappear into the distance at every race he would have done so already. The point you are trying to make is still complete nonsense, because Marquez is still within a shout of winning the title a this stage of the season, which is something remarkable for a rookie.......
