MotoGP » Valentino Rossi hails Aragon ‘brake-through’

“I'm so happy because until today I didn't have this feeling in braking, I am always in a bit of trouble. I can't wait for Assen to understand if this is also improved at other tracks” - Valentino Rossi.

good to hear some positive results.... just wonder if he's gona have issues later in the season with already using 4 engines in 6 races, having with 12 to go on 2 left, counting the one they're using now could be risky...

btw times mean nothing, they're testing parts not qualifying for grid lol

In catalunya he said he was losing 3tenths every lap under brakes, still he had sight of leaders every lap, that means the race leaders didn't run away and Rossi was not too far behind having qualified 7th with the task of safely getting away from one non-sense rider...

yamaha before 3yrs had supreme braking and stability under brakes, that's how Rossi wanted but developed by the one for next 2yrs who prefers corner speed over late braking certainly changes the nature of the bike and that might have made Rossi feel a bit akward.

Now if he has new found confidence under brakes its something to be excited about because he has did wonders in race with late and hard braking afterall that is his ultimate weapon,

At first I thought we would see one more rider fighting at the front, but he didn't sound that confident in his interview in the official MotoGP site. The press release is one thing, but I think he's a much better racer than he is an actor.

Guna well done you basically encapsulated what I have been thinking. Despite the trolls I have said previously there is something influencing his performance which has nothing to do with age, psyche etc. Yes his years of dominating the other aliens are perhaps gone but quali 7th is equally weird. Braking has always been his weapon and hopefully this is the "click" he has been looking for he certainly seems positive.

its nothing to do with believing that he was superhuman,
haters just call them second rate racers becuase he was just that damn good and made them lood second rate.

whats the difference now that you call these aliens , JLo, Pedro, MM, they dont have any competition, all the other riders are riding crt bikes. how are they suppose to keep up with the proto bikes. simple, they cant. put the entire field on full factory bikes and we'll see just how good the top 3 are.

Kane, back when Rossi was dominating he could make a mistake loose half a lap then with five laps left in the race, over take the other riders as if they were club racers and win the race. Do you honestly believe that he could have done the same with racers the quality of Doohan, Stoner or Lorenzo ? Wake up and smell the coffee!
