@ saner

Nice one though but stoner battled with Rossi in a much more matured way,, how many times did both took out each other, very rarely that too while involved in an intense battle... Stoner crashed a lot of times but never did stupid thing like this (butt)ista

"Make him start at the back."?!?! All that does is place 20 more targets in front of him. They need to get more parity among these bikes. The fact that only 4 out of 25 bikes has any chance of winning a race is a farce. During the race broadcasts here they keep reminding us that these are the best riders in the world, but how can we know this? Because someone finished only a minute behind a Honda?

The easy thing is to kick in the face the fallen guy when he is in the floor, the easy thing is to be fan of valentino or lorenzo when they are winning. But remember that Valentino said at the beggining of the season that he likes Marquez because he fights the position.

Bautista needs to take the widest line possible round the first bend and stay away from everybody! Maybe giving them a head start will keep him out of trouble!!
By the way, can someone tell me how to change a password on this site!!

gammagamma, agree with you mate! Some riders don't stand a cat in hells chance of getting anywhere on the bikes they have, but just have to religously race with the others they always group up with in every race. The same old, same old will always be up at the front on the best bikes on the grid!

I like Bautista, I think he's is a very good rider, he's great when in battles with Bradl, Cal and etc . But he does have a first lap problem. He goes into torpedo mode every time, and I don't understand why. In Barcelona I don't see how he could have passed Rossi. To me he wasn't close enough and he just wasn't fast enough to make the pass, if Rossi hadn't moved away they would have collided for sure. He really needs to change the way he approaches the start of the races. Hopefully after these two crashes in a row he'll realize it himself.

The problem with having more parity is to decide which way to do it. Make the slow bikes faster? - well, all teams are trying to do that. Fact is that the factory teams have a much bigger budget and will always be ahead of the game. That leaves the option of slowing down the factory bikes and thats not likely to be very popular with anyone - teams, riders or fans.
Remember, MotoGP is now entertainment and crowds are up, tv audiences up and factories are returning. Dorna is making money so there is little reason for change from their view.. In the last couple of years only 5 riders have won races but that hasn't dented the popularity so I'm afraid there's not a lot of prospect for change.

Gammagamma is on the right page for sure - we could do with a lot more fans 'getting it' IMO.

As for Bautista.... well he's not getting a fair shake. He's out there basically developing the parts and data that will feed into Honda's 2014 'customer' bikes for sure.

He has (Honda owned) Showa suspension where the rest have Ohlins. He has Nissin brakes where the rest have Brembo's. Bautista is running a Honda test mule in the races to collate data and set-up for HRC. So he's on a hiding to nothing (again) having to find a set-up with kit no-one else is using while also trying to compete and get results. If he over-rides it now and then we can hardly be surprised, and he's far from the slowest talent out there when things go his way.

Wait and see what forks/shock/brakes etc. the Honda customer bikes run nest season - they'll be the same stuff, and guess who's data will be used to set them up?

But then again - far easier for couch cretins to just dump on the guy eh?
