“Right now I have a contract. Right now Yamaha haven't said anything to me. They are happy with my performance” - Bradley Smith.

I would not get to excited about Smith's finish in this race....consider how many people in front of him dropped out or crashed. I think he needs to go back down to Moto2 and prove his worth. Make way for somebody more experienced to ride the Tech 3 bike.

Yes but HE didn't drop out or crash! Plus if you look at his gap to the winner EVERY race he's finished, it's got less and less. The lad is improving. He beat Dovi last time out. Bradley's doing fine!

Go brad and ignore the knockers, even the ones next to you holding the brollie on the grid!

1050cc, he should be beating all the ducatis all the time!! They are just glorified crt bikes!! He is really only expected to finish top 8.. which is last of the Hondas/yamahas. In 2014 I'd say a good goal for him is a top 5 finish.

Not hating on smith, but I can see why people are against him being here with tech3.. Although I will say he has impressed me with a top 6 finish this year. And realistically 8th in the final standings is all you really can expect of a rookie on a satellite Yamaha. He won't be winning any championships with tech3 but as long as he keeps progressing, he has my vote to stay here.

Yes and people should cast their minds back to Cal Crutchlows rookie season he didn't fair any better and look at him now! Bradley has to be given a fair chance and that is two years to get to grips with riding a MotoGP bike.

Come on Bradleys doing a fine job - look at the likes of Bradl on a full Factory Honda - Smiths not even on the same bike as Crutchlow. His performances are getting stronger, and you have to finish to get points. He's smart and goes around his business in a workman like manner. As for POL what if Yamaha sign him as a factory paid rider, do a Yamaha engine lease to ASPAR, next year and when Rossi goes to Suzuki in 2015 Crutchlow can join the factory team POL can have a near factory Yamaha at Tech 3 and Bradley by this point may have proved the doubters wrong

You don't have to be Einstein to understand that the entrance of Smith with yamaha has been a very big mistake. In fact it was NOT even yamaha's choise. It was Poncheral his decision. Now, for next year Poncheral will be happy to get a new contract with yamaha. And next year yamaha makes the choises. Bye bye Bradley
