“Right now I have a contract. Right now Yamaha haven't said anything to me. They are happy with my performance” - Bradley Smith.

MotoGP is meant to be the pinnacle of motorcycle racing. This guy is definitely not at the pinnacle. No matter how much some people like him, he will never be race winner. And I think that's the main reason why some people feel that he has no place in MotoGP, or Tech3, is because there are others who, if given the same opportunities, backing and machinery would without a doubt produce much better results.

It doesn't matter whether Bradley goes and Pol comes in. I just want Crutchlow next year. he is one of the top performer this year just outpaced by Dani/marquez/Lorenzo. He is very strong and it will be shame to loose such talent. Someone once said - The saddest thing in life is wasted talent :)

@realfan

Smith rode the Mistral specifically to upgrade his contract with Herve to ride the M1 for 2 years in MotoGP.

Please don't present the myth that the talent scouts saw him riding a dog in Moto2 and thought "another alien"

The fact that Bradley Smith can ride better than me OR even better than you is beside the point.

Oh. @ realfan do you actually ride a motorcycle?

So outside of the top 4 plus Cal maybe, who else is a futrure race winner in your opinion?

If they didn't see potential they wouldn't have signed him.
Have you actually been following the racing ? You might want to compare Smith's results in moto 2 with any of the other mistral riders results as he did better than anybody else has managed.
And just because my opinion (which clearly holds more value than yours) does not match yours are you seriously going to question whether or not I can ride a bike ?
Qualifying for Assen must have been a fluke I suppose ? Or is he just improving as he spends more time on the bike ?
Have a WORD with YOURSELF pal.
