MotoGP » Jorge Lorenzo: I was too confident

"I flew and when I hit the ground I broke my collarbone. I don't have anything negative with this circuit, just bad luck or in this case, too much confidence" - Jorge Lorenzo.

Bad luck, every now and then even someone with Jorge's consistency is bound to make a mistake.

Even if he does come back soon he may well be struggling with a pinned up collarbone.

Mind you, Dani has spent about half his career riding with a broken collarbone, pelvis, ankles...

These guys may get paid well but the do work and suffer for it.

Crutchlow came back pretty quickly after breaking his but he's hard as nails.

Shame as he was in a different class on arguably not the best bike but should be back for the next round unless there's a complication.

It makes a change for a rider to be so honest and open that the crash was his fault. Even going as far to blaming his over confidence. Huge respect.

It's such a shame for the race and the championship.

Pretty sure we just saw repsol Honda win the championship. As someone said before even if he does come back quick, he's gonna be riding against a re-incarnated pedrosa and a rapid learning Marquez with a shoulder injury

it's ok ...
he was too brave .. too confident

he doesn't get point too last year in Assen but still get the title due to his consistency all over the year.

there are 11 races after Assen GP. It still a long season.. and everything can happen, so unpredictable.

Hope he will be back ASAP. Speedy recovery giorgio!
