'In the end we took 20 points after a good battle with Cal and think I defended pretty well against him' - Marc Marquez

I thought his commentary about not being able to catch Valentino because of his broken finger was a little bit pretentious and arrogant, already he talks like he's the better rider. I recall when he was in Moto 2 and made some disparaging commentary about Max Biaggi winning in WSBK - he sounded like he was on a high horse. People will slowly begin to realise this kids arrogance is not likeable, and his attitude will be his own failing in the coming years.

Agree with all the above comments but bluemonkey nailed it for me. I'm starting to like the guy after having the same opinion as OT82.
He's good and riding very smart. I was worried about him coming to Moto GP but the antics of Alvaro lately show that for his age MM has what it takes, as Stellar eluded to.
Go Rossi.

Amazing rookie asusual,, fighting for the maximum possible under any circumstances that is the great thing about this guy,, he cares about nothing except his own riding that is why he is so good,, we call him the next Rossi but I say no to that... Rossi is not just about winning races. Performance wise Marc is now surely better than Rossi in his early days but keeping the legacy going strong among the fan base is one thing no one else could beat Rossi in that... Go marc

If this kid arrived on a 500 2t or original 1000 instead of a factory Honda he would still be in the hospital. The only rider in history with a rule named after him for riding like a (insert banned word here).

MM is great, but wow can you say "surely"?
On his 1st year Vale won twice, made 5 fastest laps and ended up 2nd in the championship on very difficult to handle/learn bikes...
