Where are all the folks who bashed rossi when dovi put the duc on the front row? Going backwards? Seem familiar. I guess it makes sense that dovi took the ride. I would go to a new company for a 15% raise and I make under 100k a year. Imagine going from 200k to 2 mil. I woulda gone too. These guys have relatively short careers and they don't make VR money so they gotta take the money when they can. Sure dovi had to know he would slip in the standings on the duc vs the M1. I thought he looked better on the M1 than the RCV actually. .

Dovi got like 5 2nd places when Dani was injured when he was on the RCV. It's not about how good you are its all about politics and you can even see it playing out with Dani, as Dani is just about as good as Dovi was when Dovi was racing Dani :)

The only problem is Honda are risking losing the manufacturers and teams and riders titles by backing a guy whose probably 1/2 to 3/4 of a second slower than Dani.

This Ducati is like the review that reports do when they test Mv Agusta Motorcycles at least the Hight Tech sport bikes...

They allways loock good, they allways have Power but they never give a good feeling has one racing bike or Road racing machine.. They only loock good, drink more fuel and have expensive parts!!

Japonese bikes and cars are suppose to be without soul they use materials that are not has expensive, they also loock cool but they never shine like the Italians expensive parts, but you take one you go on track and do road racing, or you go do 24 hours Lemanz, and the bikes you wach winning and racing are Suzuki Gsxr 1000, Kawasaki zx 10r Honda cbr 1000 Yamaha R1.. i mean if one bike that have soul has to be good to ride, then i can only say Japonese bikes and cars are just brutal in terms of SOUL.. Take any super car or sport Motorcycle build in Japan and ride the feeling you will find is allways of surprise of how good this bike is, take one Italian and the feeling you

, take one Italian and the feeling you will find is this, EXCUSE you will allways try to find one excuse to say that you like the bike but in the end you will be angry because its expensive to mantain and dont go any faster, and the bike was build for that purpose..lolo you will feel like one rich guy that insted of use the bike is better to put to because it is so beatifull to wach the sound is great but GOd DAMM to ride only on Sonday..lolol

Dovi and Cal were both competitive on the M1 last year and were often beating Rossi. Is this enough proof then that the Ducati is rubbish? Stoner was the only one able to win on the Ducati but even his results went down after his 2007 championship.

Truth is the only thing that Dovi has done well with the bike is qualify it, the rest has been I am going backwards but we have been told how well he is getting on with the job. To his credit he has not fallen off it much!

I'm also curious about where the bashers have disappeared to. Both factory Ducati's finished behind a CRT. Why aren't Dovi and Hayden being crucified like Rossi was? *light bulb* I know! Haters!

2007 was obviously the peak of the ducati as both riders won on it.. every year since they have progressively gotten worse. Hayden was good for at least a podium or 2 up until 2012.. now they are both lucky to finish top 6!! This "lab bike" they have is obviously not the change needed. They need a radical change.. these small steps they are doing aren't even coming close to cutting it!!

Perhaps the real problem with Ducati is the 90 deg 'V" engine configuration, not in regard to power but in weight distribution and chassis configuration limitations it imposes on the overall package.
