The simple fact is,all riders need the best bike to win.Have you known anyone win on the WORST bike?
The rider who wins the title is usually on the best bike THAT year.
But it is strange how Casey beat his team mate by 199 points in 2007 whilst on an identical bike.
People often under estimate the talent he had.
Yes,you need the equipment to win.But you also need the skill to use that equipment to the full.

Its a mix m8.. like you had say riders need one competitive bike!! i dont say that Casey was not amyzing because evn when he start going down in 2008, after this until 2010 he stll some amyzing races, 4sure Casey pure talente but is mind is to agressive, he won in 2011 and was clearly one year that Honda whanted to Win, loss was not a option, they run 3 oficial bikes with pure talente riders Casey was the best, is was the best rival for Lorenzo after Rossi whent to Ducati, but i allready new that Stoner would loss 2012, compared to Lorenzo we can wach , Lorenzo is much more calm he thnks about points he try is best, wille Stoner come with that bullsht its a matter of pryde he risk like a crasy boy i new that sooner or later he would get hurt and will loss.. Lorenzo mind againt Casey is much more stronger to Win one Champion.. Lorenzo only loss 2011 because Honda really strong..

ps: the best bike in 2012 still was the Honda speacly after mid sesson, wach Pedrosa

We now know Rossi said he would 'make the most' of Jorge's 'absence'. So let us go back over the year so far, it is clear he (Rossi "The Doctor") didnt have the confidence to deal with JoL, hence the reason why he was a mile off the pace all year. Whether Rossi can keep the form up, only time will tell and if his strange win was a fluke.

Rossi finish 6 in 2012 even with Jap Factorys and Satellite bikes much more stronger!! This year Ducati have more less or the same bike i dunno if it will change somethingh until the final of the year.. But i will remember to wach what Dovi and Hayden can do in terms of final position.. They can bless that at least this year Tech 3 dont have two serious riders to compete for the Champ they only have Cal since Smith is still learning.. in 2012 was Dovi and Cal

@ Joat, agreed. Marc wasn't 100%, Dani was complaining of traction problems, its traditionally a circuit that favours the Yamaha and Jorge was obviously unfit.

It was still a convincing win though, but whether it was a bit of a fluke, or if this is the beginning of him being in contention for wins again, everyone wants to know. I had a feeling from the test in Aragorn that they'd found something good. Only time will tell though. No more injuries though please dudes. Those high sides were hard to look at!!

This needs to be cleared up. You can win individual races on an inferior bike as stoner did in 2010. But to win the championship, you need the best bike. This is the same for all riders. It's a toss up between the factory Honda and Yamaha this year. Hopefully Rossi hasn't found his mojo too late and with Lorenzo being injured for a while, the title chase will become very interesting these next few races.

Great job Rossi, glimpses of Rossi past. Hopefully this is the first step in the right direction for him to gaining confidence in the ability to push the bike and to compete with the leaders which I've always though he was capable of. Glad to see that all the haters that said he would never get a podium and especially the ones that said "He will never win another race again" are cowering in their mum's basement.
