Ducati was stoner 1 factory bike, on the 1 year he jump on the bike he Won, he was feeling great, in 2008 is adavantages where over still was the 2 year of 800cc and where Jap bikes that have to close the gap, they close the gap but was still one good year for Ducati, in 2009 was clear that Ducati was going down, but Casey allways try hard to try to put the bike on the Top like one friend he re say he end yp learning how to extract a bit more of that bike at least at some tracks.. casey was there 3 years but was is 1 factory he whanted to learn about that bike... Rossi made all is carear around Jap bikes that are diferente we have to say, it was is first expirience with carbon chassi just like for Jeremy and couldn t setup the bike properly, still h e ride but just dont suit him, was like learning again how to ride hin in 2 years where Ducati was constantly testing and trying to fix somethingh.. Was 2 years very busy with a lot of pressure and many stuff to improve.. i

No, no silly you are the one brainwashed. The Ducati was designed around Stoner who has a significantly different style then Rossi. With Stoner's input the Ducati was run into the ground with help of Ducati management stubborness for not changing and underestimating the other factories ever increasing improvements. Rossi had to ride the mess developed over the past several years in his 1st year with them to convince management of a dire change. That started in year 2. However as they were essentially doing development in year 2 during races this didn't allow them to be to competitive. I'll give Stoner credit for winning a few races but his overall standings weren't better than Rossi's.

@ Ridge Racer - Oh, its NOT about championships now. LOL.

Seriously dude. Take the advice. Stop trying to labour this point. You're just plain wrong. Rossi is one of the greatest of all time. Casey definitely had the potential too, but he was unlucky to start on a Ducati, but at the end of the day he couldn't defend his title with a Honda. There is therefore a question mark over Casey too. However, they are both brilliant. Dont try and put someones achievements down. Especially when its one of the most impressive records in sporting history!!

Are you resorting to name calling now to prove your point?? Lol, does baby want his bottle???? hahahaha

Please dude just stop you are embarrassing yourself!

" tell me a valid reason why he wasnt able to win ONCE"

Because the performance difference between the japanese bikes and the ducati was even bigger in 2011 than in 2010. Eventually it get to the point were it was no longer possible to win on it. Even Casey woudnt been able the win with the duke in 2011 imho. He was an awesome rider better than Rossi on the Ducati but NO way anybody could have won on the Duke after 2010.

Yes i think NOBODY could have won with the duke after 2010. Rossi thought he could turn around things there but he failed. It has nothing to do with his talent though.

Valentino Rossi: "I thought, 'F**k! If Lorenzo arrives in front of me with a broken collarbone it is a big problem!'" ha ha ha....that was funny...although I wanted him to come and sit on that circle on that warm up lap...just like he did in 2007...after beating Casey, starting from 11th....what a race..that was...:)
